Peter Juul Kristensen is one of very few Danish mixing engineers with
international experience. If there's anybody who knows what is required
in the high circles of the music business, he does. But dealing with
them, you would never guess that his portfolio include names like
Quincy Jones, Celine Dion, Gabriel Yared and Marco Beltrami. In his
homeland, Peter is most recognized for his work on "A Royal Affair" and
"The Wild Swans". The later with production design by Her Royal
Highness Queen Margrethe of Denmark. In 2010 Peter recorded and mixed
"DR's Store Juleshow" for the fifth time in a row - an annual Christmas
TV special, broadcasted to the whole of Scandinavia, Iceland and
Greenland.
His own private studio which is situated next to his home in Copenhagen, recently upgraded to 5.1 mixing facility in order to handle the growing demand for surround mixes. Here he recently mixed a Gabriel Yared score for the award winning Danish movie "A Royal Affair" - and top selling Danish male artist Rasmus Seebach first live concert for DVD - both were mixed in 5.1 surround.
