It’s not long after I request a quiet table in the back, reporter’s notebook and tape recorder in hand, that the hostess of this rustic East Village trattoria asks who I’m meeting. When I tell her Drew Tarver and Heléne Yorke, her eyes light up in recognition before she begins listing other stars who frequent the restaurant: Ben Stiller; Tyler, the Creator; Emily Ratajkowski; Ziwe. As I scan the menu, she recommends the chicken Milanese — Pete Davidson’s favorite entrée.
This interaction might sound celebrity-obsessed, verging on grossly superficial. But then again, I’m about to sit down with the stars of “The Other Two,” the hilarious and scathing satire of how fame consumes, corrupts and confines us.
Soon after we’re all seated, Yorke says with a hearty laugh, “Being an actor is, in many ways, a humiliating experience.”

The scripted pilot based on Jessica Simpson’s bestselling memoir “Open Book” is not moving forward at Amazon Freevee, Variety has confirmed. Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s period comedy “Western” has also been scrapped, though both potential series are now being shopped elsewhere.
The pilot for “Open Book” was ordered by Amazon Freevee back in October, with Tom Kapinos set to write and executive produce and Adam Bernstein on board as a director and executive producer. Katelyn Tarver would play Sadie Sparrow, a young singer based on Simpson, while John Stamos was cast as her older songwriter, Butch. Over time, the two would develop a connection that went beyond music.
Simpson was set to executive produce the project, along with Patrick Moran for his Pkm Productions and Amazon Studios. Lauren Auslander and Lacy Lynch were also on board as executive producers.

Los Angeles-based duo Lost Kings gave us one of 2015’s best tracks with their song “You,” an unbelievably catchy tune that we still can’t stop listening to. With its radiant plucks and luminous melody, not to mention those bubbly vocals from Katelyn Tarver, it’s got a radio-friendly sensibility that turned it into an instant hit.
Now, as promised, the producers have delivered the music video for “You.” Vibrant and colorful, with a unique vision driving the whole thing, it’s an excellent visual companion to one of our favorite songs. It gives off such a positive vibe too that combined with the track’s infectious sound, it’s almost impossible not to get up and start dancing along with it.
With a huge remix released earlier this month, and a Vegas debut coming up in February, 2016 is looking to be a big year for Lost Kings, and as...

While it’s still fairly likely that you haven’t heard of Lost Kings, if their current trajectory in the electronic music world is any indicator, they’ll be a household name soon enough.
The L.A.-based duo – comprised of Boston-born Rob Gainley and Baltimore native Nick Shanholtz – began the project shortly after meeting on the former member’s birthday in 2014. After a series of remixes, they have now begun to release originals that have all the makings of Edm gold without sounding quite like anything else on the airwaves at the moment.
After the genre-bending “Bad,” which features vocals by Jessame, Gainley and Shanholtz have reinforced their trademark style of melodic, euphoric house music with “You” – on which pop singer Katelyn Tarver contributes a strong top line.
Following the warm reception of these tracks, Gainley caught up with We Got This Covered to talk about the Lost Kings...

Lost Kings has just released a preview of their Katelyn Tarver collaboration, “You,” through Spinnin’ Records. As the youngest generation of electronic music fans get tired of jumping up and down and begin seeking out music that just makes them dance instead, it often feels like every permutation of deep, tropical and future house has been thoroughly mined – but this outfit’s melodic sound continues to be one of a kind.
Radiant plucks and resonant claps set a warm backdrop for Tarver’s vocals, which themselves endow a radio-friendly sensibility into the already easy-to-listen-to production. A luminous melody at the peak makes the track less drowsy than a lot of what similar artists put out these days, giving it a healthy balance between main stage and underground sounds.
“You” comes out in its entirety tomorrow, October 23rd. As Lost Kings have only fairly recently signed to Spinnin’, it stands to...

Katelyn Tarver has reportedly signed up for a role in No Ordinary Family. Entertainment Weekly says that the Big Time Rush star has landed a recurring role in the series as a love interest for Jj (Jimmy Bennett). Meanwhile, Bennett explained that Jj may get to play football again but said that he does not expect the Powell family to begin fighting crime together. "I hope [we don't] ever have to wear tights," he joked. "I have heard the rumours and read some things that they are going to keep that as something my parents do together and me and my sister are going to deal with more of the teenage and school (more)...

Now that Jimmy Bennett’s character has lost his football privileges on ABC’s No Ordinary Family, something – or rather, someone - will help to put a smile back on his face. He’s gettin’ a girl! Katelyn Tarver (Big Time Rush) will recur in the next few episodes as the new galpal in J.J.’s life.
The powerful son of Jim (Michael Chiklis) and Stephanie (Julie Benz) may even get to play football again, Bennett teases. So what’s next? Will the Powell Family – which also includes Kay Panabaker as Daphne – ever fight crime together? “I hope [we don't] ever have to wear tights,...

After "Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale dished the dirt on Aria and Mr. Fitz, the Montgomery family and Officer Wilden's return, she fielded some fan questions submitted to Zap2it via Twitter.
@ErDisney:
Has she stayed in touch her "American Juniors" costars?
"The one that I mostly keep up with is Katelyn Tarver ... she's working on her music, she's so talented. I still talk to Danielle (White) and Tori and Taylor (Thompson) every now and then. Then the others -- we have each other's Facebooks and Twitters, like very lightly keep in touch. It seems like everyone's doing really well."
@jennifermarie99
Who is your style inspiration?
"I am sort of all over the place. I see something and buy it. I don't have a signature look that I like ... I love shoes. It's just sort of whatever I think is cute. I look at girls my age in magazines...
