The 3rd Annual NYC Web Fest (Nycwf) announced its official selections today – a wide variety of web series that span the globe. The Pit Loft on West 29th Street will host the three-day festival. Of the 96 series highlighted, nearly half are from the tri-state area, with an impressive international showing as well.

A&E has pushed out the premiere of its upcoming Black and White TV show by two weeks. Originally slated to debut tomorrow, July 13th, Black and White will premiere Wednesday, July 27 at 10:30pm Et/Pt on A&E. A weekly comedy series hosted by comedians and friends Christian Finnegan and Sherrod Small, Black And White is called a “provocative weekly in-studio show that tackles the third rail of both comedy and politics: race.”While A&E did not cite a reason for the series premiere delay, given the focus of Black and White, it seems likely that recent real-world events in the Us in places including Dallas, Baton Rouge, and a Minneapolis suburb, may have influenced the scheduling decision.Read More…...

NBC and CNN have both reportedly expressed interest in a Us version of Have I Got News For You.
Cable network TBS previously filmed an unbroadcast pilot for the American series, with stand-up comic Sherrod Small as one of two team captains.
Small told a fan on Twitter that he is unaware of whether TBS plans to pick up the pilot, but claimed that other networks have since expressed an interest in the project.
"Last I heard NBC and CNN are really interested too, so we will see," he wrote. "I'm ready to start taping!"
Us comedian Sam Seder took the role of host in the pilot, with Michael Ian Black as Small's rival team captain.
The UK version of the panel show, with Paul Merton and Ian Hislop as team captains, has been aired by the BBC since it launched in 1990.

The comedy cable channel just shot the pilot with comedian Sam Seder hosting and comedians Sherrod Small and Michael Ian Black as team captains. Once in a while, we comedy lovers get a good, solid Dave Chappelle sighting. He comes out of hiding to do some standup and then disappears again into the ether. But now the hilarious comic—who fell off the radar (on his terms) in 2005 when he abruptly quit Chappelle's Show—seems to be prepping for a comeback and has reared his head in New York. The Disney actor also appears in the recurring role of Pj on PBS KIds Go!'s updated "The Electric Company."
Massey is great entertainer all around, but that doesn't mean he doesn't make mistakes. Pj returns for the show's third season, which kicks off Feb. 7, and here's a fun blooper reel of his "oops" moments and general behind-the-scenes shenanigans:
