For a studio that used to debut years’ worth of upcoming titles in their own Apple-like event, Marvel has been relatively tight-lipped on their future phase of films. Sure, we know little details here and there, like The Eternals and Shang-Chi are both set to make their big screen debuts, and a Black Widow prequel is in development, but we’ve barely heard a word about follow-ups to their past solo successes like Black Panther and Doctor Strange. But now that Endgame has come and gone, we expect that to change very quickly.
If new rumors are to be believed, Doctor Strange 2, which is deep into development behind studio doors by director Scott Derrickson and screenwriter C. Robert Cargill, may feature two brand new characters, and the surprising return of a few more.

We know that director Scott Derrickson is currently developing Doctor Strange 2 for Marvel, and there’s a very good chance that it will be one of the films officially announced by the studio later this summer.
We also know that Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role as Stephen Strange, and now we’ve learned that some new characters might be joining him. According to the mysterious Twitter account @RogerWardell, who previously revealed several legit plot points for Avengers: Endgame long before in came out, Doctor Strange 2 will introduce the Marvel characters Jericho Drumm, a.k.a. Brother Voodoo, and Clea to the McU.
In addition to the two new characters, it’s also reported that Tilda Swinton is in talks to reprise her role as the Ancient One, which would make sense. It also says the look and feel of the film will be akin to a "1980s boogaloo.

It looks like Marvel's Doctor Strange likes to defeat Trolls inside and out of the comic books. The Sorcerer Supreme defeats Justin Timberlake in the box office and it’s another home run for Marvel Studios. I guess we can say that Kevin Feige brought the sexy back when it comes to dusting off one of Marvel Comics’ most classic and iconic characters.
His decision to hire director Scott Derrickson was smart and he definitely brought a dark visual intensity we had never seen in a Marvel movie. His passion for the Marvel brand and it’s stories really shows and the continued legacy of Marvel Easter Eggs was something he had no problem being a part of.
(Beware Of The Spoilers)
When you watch Doctor Strange make sure to look out for these…before they disappear like Magic! Here is what Derrickson told EW.
