Fran Harris is a screenwriter and TV series creator, with a background in development and distribution at Warner Bros, Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox.
Fran is adapting Alex Hay's critically acclaimed period heist novel 'The Housekeepers' as a returnable TV series for Miramax. Before this, she was in Miramax's writers room for the TV adaptation of Guy Ritchie's 'The Gentlemen' for Netflix. Fran is also developing an original, returnable drama for Gaze/Anton Corp, and is head writer on an original crime thriller TV series with the Emmy winning producers Richard Yee and Krish Majumdar producing for Me+You and Fremantle.
Before this, Fran co-wrote Season 1 of the BBC police drama 'Blue Lights' with Declan Lawn and Adam Patterson, produced by Two Cities TV. She was also in the writers room and wrote one episode of the RTE/BBC crime drama 'Clean Sweep' and the international thriller 'North Sea Connection', produced by Mopar Studios.
