‘Never Tell’: Adaptation Of Stacey Abrams Book From PatMa Being Redeveloped At CBS With Barbara Hall
Exclusive: CBS has put drama Never Tell back in development with a new writer, Madam Secretary creator Barbara Hall. Based on the book by Selena Montgomery (nom de plume for Stacey Abrams), the project is from Abrams; Nina Tassler and Denise Di Novi’s PatMa Productions; and CBS Studios, where the company is based. It originally was set at CBS in November 2019 with Talicia Raggs as writer.
In Never Tell, penned by Hal based on the novel, in an effort to escape the dark secrets of her past, a brilliant linguist assumes a new identity as a professor in New Orleans and joins forces with an intrepid journalist and a local detective to tackle the toughest crimes in the city.
Hall and Abrams executive produce for CBS Studios alongside PatMa’s Tassler, Di Novi and Joan Boorstein. Daniel Simon is the PatMa exec overseeing the project.

CBS has put into development a drama series based on the romance novel “Never Tell” by former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams.
Published in 2004 under the pen name Selena Montgomery, “Never Tell” centers on a criminal psychologist who joins forces with a charismatic investigative journalist after she comes to suspect a serial killer is roaming New Orleans.
Abrams, a Democrat who lost the Georgia governor’s race last November by less than 55,000 votes, will serve as executive producer on the CBS TV Studios series alongside writer Talicia Raggs and Nina Tassler and Denise Di Novi of Pat Ma Productions.

Hey, "NCIS: New Orleans" fans. We are back to let you guys know what's about to go down in the next, new episode 7 that's due out next week. Thanks to CBS' latest press release, we do have a very heavy teaser description for episode 7 to tell you about. We've also got a couple of preview photos for episode 7 to go over. We'll also give you guys a link to those photos so you can see them for yourselves. So, let's get this spoiler session started. ' First thing's first, the title for episode 7 is called, "“Boom-Boom-Boom-Boom.” That is a very fitting title for this episode because things will definitely go boom in it. It sounds like episode 7 will feature some very dramatic, super intense, dangerous and possible action-filled scenes. In the new episode 6, a natural gas explosion is going to end up taking place at some movie theater.
