Call “Sight” a stealth faith-based movie and you won’t be far off the mark. For the most part, it’s a respectful but unremarkable biopic about Dr. Ming Wang, a Chinese-born, Nashville-based eye surgeon whose innovative use of amniotic membrane contact lenses has helped restore the eyesight of millions of patients, many of them children. But the end, which contains a Qr code much like distributor Angel Studios’ summer blockbuster “Sound of Freedom” did last year, features the real Dr. Wang — one of the film’s executive producers — in a sequence where he credits his success as having been possible “only with God’s grace,” after he was able to “open myself to God.”

The stars of the upcoming live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series are stepping out for the premiere of their new Netflix show!
Leading young stars Kiawentiio, Gordon Cormier, Ian Ousley and Dallas Liu showed off their fashion on the gold carpet at The Egyptian Theatre Hollywood on Thursday evening (February 15) in Los Angeles.
The four stars of the show were joined by many of their co-stars, including Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Daniel Dae Kim, Elizabeth Yu, Ken Leung, and many more!

Avatar: The Last Airbender is a live-action reimagining of the popular Nickelodeon animated series, which follows Aang, the young Avatar, as he learns to master the four elements to restore balance to a world threatened by the terrifying Fire Nation.

Exclusive: Angel Studios, the studio behind Sound of Freedom and The Chosen, has acquired worldwide rights to the indie drama Sight starring Terry Chen (Almost Famous) and Greg Kinnear (As Good as It Gets), slating it for release on May 24.
