Bold and the Beautiful has Li Finnegan reacting strangely after administrating Bill Spencer‘s paternity test, confirming him as the father on the CBS soap. Before the test, fans thought Li harbored hatred for her sister. But instead, some wondered if Poppy Nozawa lived life like the gold digger that Li said she was. But now that the results offer some credibility for the little sister, this big sister starts to act strangely.
Bold and the Beautiful: Li Finnegan Makes Vulgar Accusations
Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) acted as if something awful just happened when reading the test results. Instead of showing some joy around her niece’s happy news, she looked disturbed. Her hatred for her sister just oozed out of her. She also took her time to hand over the paternity test results.

In a week full of tense confrontations on the popular CBS soap, The Bold and the Beautiful, the rivalry between Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) escalates. This results in a declaration of war. The main point of contention appears to be coming from Steffy.
Her insistence that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) take Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and leave Los Angeles. This is a move that Hope feels was designed to isolate her on Bold and the Beautiful. Also complicating matters further, Steffy accuses Hope of influencing Finn to give Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) another chance. So this is adding fuel to their heated feud.
The ongoing conflict is not just personal on Bold and the Beautiful. Also, it threatens to spill into their professional lives as well. Steffy, in her capacity as CEO, is threatening to shut down Hope’s fashion line. But she...

The Daytime Emmy Awards nominations were announced, and The Bold and the Beautiful smelled like roses with several nominations.
With nominations in every category except Supporting Actor, the CBS sudser will be well represented during the June ceremony.
It may seem as if viewers just watched the 50th Daytime Emmy Awards, but that’s because last year’s show was delayed six months due to the actor and writers strikes that took over Hollywood.
The Bold and the Beautiful has three men in the Lead Actor category, two women in Lead Actress, and one each in Supporting Actress and Guest Performer.
Despite being a 30-minute soap, viewers are loyal and continue tuning in daily. There’s a clear divide between the Logans and Forresters, which carries over into the fan base.

In all of the exorbitant fallout from Michael Kassan’s exit from UTA earlier this month even the lawyers are getting shrapnel now.
Following a Deadline article of March 25 in which the agency’s outside counsel Bryan Freeman called the ex-MediaLink CEO a “pathological liar,” Kassan is now aiming his ire at the Hollywood heavyweight attorney to the tune of $125 million. If the sum sounds familiar, it’s because it is the exact amount that UTA bought strategic advisory firm MediaLink for in a handshake deal back in December 2021.
Coming on the same day that UTA hit back at Kassan’s arbitration claims, the jury trial seeking defamation suit (read it here) filed today in LA Superior Court cuts pretty fast to the chase, as you can see here:
Knowing that Kassan’s profession consists of providing important strategic advice to the largest companies in the world, on behalf of his clients,...

Twenty years ago, Jake Gyllenhaal was seriously considered to play Bruce Wayne in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins. The role may have gone to Christian Bale, but Gyllenhaal still remains a popular choice to play the iconic DC character, particularly with The Brave and the Bold just over the horizon.
While speaking with ScreenRant about Road House, Jake Gyllenhaal was asked if he’d still be interested in playing Batman.
“Oh, man. That’s a classic. It’s an honor,” Gyllenhaal said. “Speaking of playing roles that other incredible actors have played in the past, to me actually roles that other incredible actors have played in the past, which, to me, actually, when I think about it, I’m going to play Iago in Othello with Denzel Washington, and I think about like the history of actors that have played that role throughout time, and I’m intimidated by that.

The highly-anticipated sequel to Matt Reeves’ The Batman has been pushed back from its original Oct. 3, 2025 release date on the Warner Bros. slate. The movie will now release Oct. 2, 2026. That means there will now be an over four-year gap between the first film, which saw Robert Pattinson don the cape and cowl, and Part II.
This will of course come as disappointing news for DC fans who have been awaiting the second installment in what’s meant to be a whole trilogy of Batman movies from Reeves and Pattinson. But it isn’t all bad news for Batfans, especially if (weirdly) you also happen to be a fan of The Dark Knight. Taking over the Oct. 3, 2025 spot on the slate is another WB production, Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Bride!, which is a reimagining of the Bride of Frankenstein, starring Bale, Jessie Buckley, Peter Sarsgaard, Annette Bening, and Penelope Cruz. John Oliver has some ideas for DC co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran as to who should be their next Batman.
On the latest episode of Last Week Tonight, Oliver discussed the Supreme Court agreeing to take on Donald Trump’s immunity case and whether ex-presidents can be prosecuted. The HBO late-night show host said that the answer was an obvious, “Yes!”
Oliver went on to cite other obvious answers like, “Did Robert Durst kill those people? Or Which cereal mascot f***s the most? Or who should play the next Batman? And for the record, the answers are, absolutely, it’s not even close [Tony the tiger], and Natasha Lyonne.”
The comedian joked the Russian Doll star would make a great casting choice whenever they cast the next Batman.

The Batman trilogy by Christopher Nolan got a lot of things right, but it also managed to get something horribly wrong. While there were some brilliant choices made in the films, such as the casting of Heath Ledger as Joker, some parts of the trilogy suffered under the weight of horrible decisions.
Liam Neeson as Ra’s al Ghul
One such choice was the casting of ethnically White actors to play the roles of Ra’s Al Ghul and Talia al Ghul, both of whom are depicted to be of Middle-Eastern descent in the comics. While there has been a resurgence in this particular criticism of Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, there is hope that upcoming Batman projects could correct these mistakes.

The Bold and the Beautiful writers went all out as they wrapped up February sweeps.
After several weeks of more of the same since Christmas, things changed last week when Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) and Deacon (Sean Kanan) popped back up after being backburnered for several weeks.
And when she ran into Kelly at the restaurant with Lucy (Amanda Kloots) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) flipped, we knew it would not be good.
The women come to blows in Deacon’s apartment, and Sheila doesn’t take anything in her life lying down.
In the preview video that The Bold and the Beautiful dropped over the weekend, a showdown no one saw coming was featured. It was eerie and almost straight out of a horror film, which isn’t typically Bold’s style.
However, viewers wonder if Sheila is dead after what happened in the most recent episode.

Upon its release last year, The Flash became one of the biggest mishaps in DC history, whose performance summed up the struggling state of the Dceu that finally ended with Aquaman 2. But while The Flash became a disaster for Wbd, which failed to break even, prior to its release, many Hollywood biggies claimed that it was the next big thing in CBMs, including Dcu head James Gunn.
Although many speculated that it was some sort of marketing strategy from Wbd’s side, surprisingly Gunn and Co. gave The Flash director Andy Muschietti the keys to Dcu’s Batman. And while many were in doubt, whether it was still the case or not following The Flash‘s failure, it seems Gunn is still putting faith in the It director to do the Caped Crusader justice.

A3 may be dead, but the legal war between onetime agency chairman Adam Bold and his former top executives rages on.
Broadening the horizon of the flurry of filings in Los Angeles Superior Court, Hollywood heavyweight lawyer Bryan Freedman has offered to help the much-accused and allegedly drug-addicted Bold get sober and “embark on a program of recovery.”
In a town literally and figuratively built on fiction, you seriously couldn’t make some of this stuff up.
Hitting back at lurid accusations and what he calls a “smear campaign” in a December 2023 suit from now former A3 partners Robert Attermann and Brian Cho citing hardcore drug use, sexual harassment, and overall claims of having “squandered everything” at the agency he took over in 2018, Bold’s acrimonious response and attempt to have the initial suit tossed out takes a lot of big swings itself. A3 Artists Agency is shuttering.
A3 COO Todd Quinn informed staff in an email Friday, writing, “The decision was not made lightly and comes after extensive analysis. Despite our best efforts, we find ourselves unable to continue operating in a sustainable manner.” Final paychecks will be sent to staff on Monday, which will be its final day of operations.
According to a source, the decision to pull the trigger was made unilaterally by chairman Adam Bold on Friday afternoon and caught agency CEO Robert Atterman and president Brian Cho by surprise. Bold has the power to make such moves unilaterally according to new operating agreements signed last year.
Atterman and Cho, longtime executives at the firm since before its rebranding from Abrams Artists Agency in 2020, currently are suing Bold for fraudulently compelling them to sign over their managing rights to him. The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Dec.

Exclusive: Little more than a month after finalizing the sale of its digital and alternative divisions to Gersh, A3 Artists Agency is closing its doors for good, Deadline has learned.
In a Friday afternoon email to staff reviewed by Deadline, A3 COO Todd Quinn said, “After careful consideration and evaluation of our circumstances, we regret to announce that A3 will be ceasing its ongoing operations effective end of day Monday, February 12, 2024.” Added Quinn, “This decision was not made lightly and comes after extensive analysis. Despite our best efforts, we find ourselves unable to continue operating in a sustainable manner.”
Sources told Deadline that this was a unilateral decision on Bold’s part which caught everyone by surprise. The move brings to an end the run of an agency established (as Abrams Artists Agency) all the way back in 1977, which Adam Bold took over as Chairman in 2018. A3 Artists Agency is allegedly locked in a “state of chaos” as it confronts an “exodus of agents and their clients” to competing firms because of majority owner Adam Bold’s mismanagement of company funds, sexual misconduct and drug abuse, according to a complaint that has been filed seeking to block the sale of company’s most profitable divisions to rival Gersh.
Agency partners Robert Attermann and Brian Cho, in a lawsuit filed on Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, claim that they were duped into signing away their ability to stop the merger by Bold, who’s allegedly been shopping the agency for months at a figure they say is well-below market value.
“It has become exceedingly clear that Bold intends to siphon the proceeds of the A3 sale to himself and drive what remains of a once-great company into bankruptcy,” states the complaint. “In such a scenario, the...

Five years after snagging a majority stake in A3, chairman Adam Bold is being accused of “a campaign of chaos” by the Agency’s CEO and president and being a coke addict, a “creeping” lech who created a toxic and hostile workplace and a spendthrift who is steering “what remains of a once-great company into bankruptcy.”
“In an astonishing run of terror, Bold has squandered everything: A3 is in a state of chaos and dissolution as its agents jump off the sinking ship and flee to A3 competitors, or wait in shock and fear for the next shoe to drop,” declares the 10-claim fraud and breach of contract complaint from A3 partners Robert Atterman and Brian Cho against Bold, A3 itself and Superbrands Capital (read it here). “Remarkably, Bold has managed to alienate nearly every A3 employee, from its leadership down to its administrative staff, through a corrosive and toxic...

Adam Bold, the self-made millionaire and majority owner of talent representation firm A3 Artists Agency, has been hit with a lawsuit from his partners accusing him of sexual misconduct and running the company into the ground.
In court papers filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, agency CEO Robert Atterman and president Brian Cho accused Bold of plunging the company into financial chaos with overspending, squeezing out leadership in a proposed sale of parts of A3 to rival agency Gersh, and developing a reputation as “office creep” and “sex pest” to nearly 200 employees.

It’s official: Andy Muschietti is going to the Batcave.
Ahead of the release of his superhero movie The Flash, Muschietti has decided to keep his feet firmly in the land of DC.
Muschietti finalized a deal to direct The Brave and the Bold, the feature project that will introduce a new big-screen version of Batman, one that will fit into the expansive universe being developed by DC Studios heads James Gunn and Peter Safran.
The involvement has been whispered about for several weeks. Muschietti, who has been on the Flash press tour, has been coy about his connection. But a deal was finally closed this week, according to a source, very conveniently timed to the opening of his movie.

We had been hearing for some time that Andy Muschietti was circling to direct Batman Brave and the Bold at Warner Bros, however, with the WGA strike in effect, it didn’t appear that things were going to get locked down so quickly. However on the eve of The Flash‘s opening night, DC Co-Bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran have officially certified in a statement that they’ve selected the Argentinian filmmaker as the director of a new incarnation of Batman.

The closing of CAA’s closely watched megadeal for rival ICM last June and the reverberations of the Writers Guild’s years-long standoff with agencies over packaging fees and affiliate productions have reshaped Hollywood’s representation landscape. With only three majors left — CAA, UTA and Endeavor-owned WME — there’s now a race among midsize firms to become the de facto No. 4.
One of the firms eyeing an expansion is A3 Artists Agency, which had its outside counsel send letters of purchase inquiry to three of its rivals — Verve, APA and an undisclosed agency — in mid-January. A3 chairman Adam Bold says the Bill Weinstein-led Verve dismissed the offer to open discussions (Verve had no comment), while APA president Jim Osbourne tells The Hollywood Reporter that “a sale to anyone, much less A3, was never entertained and simply not true.”
Bold says he’s in early talks with a third agency.

Showcase is likely the series that comes to mind when one thinks of Silver Age DC Comics anthologies, but The Brave and the Bold may have an even greater legacy. Sure, the former introduced some of the most important Silver Age heroes, including Barry Allen as the Flash and Hal Jordan as Green Lantern. But The Brave and the Bold changed comics forever with the introduction of the Justice League of America in its 28th issue. Not only did the Jla become DC’s premier superhero team but its success prompted Atlas Comics publisher Martin Goodman to tell his editor Stan Lee to give superheroes a shot, leading to the creation of the Fantastic Four and the Marvel Universe.
So it’s no small thing that DC Comics plans to bring The Brave and the Bold back as part of its Dawn of DC storytelling initiative next year. Spinning out...

Exclusive: Nikohl Boosheri (The Bold Type) and Ali Fazal (Victoria & Abdul) have been set to lead cast in movie Afghan Dreamers (working title), based on the inspiring true story of the all-girls robotics team from Afghanistan.
The English-language project will chart the story of the heralded program, which was launched by Afghan tech entrepreneur Roya Mahboob in 2017, as a way to help young Afghan women develop their skills in science and technology, despite a highly patriarchal society and the chaotic and often dangerous backdrop of the country’s politics. The team went on to participate in competitions around the world, garner global media attention and meet leading politicians, including former U.S Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. Former President Donald Trump intervened to help several team members get visas for a robotics competition in Washington DC and Mahboob was named among Time’s most influential people in the world.

Actor Austin Stoker, best known for playing Lt. Ethan Bishop in director John Carpenter‘s 1976 classic Assault on Precinct 13, was born on October 7, 1930 in Trinidad… and sadly, it has been confirmed that he passed away on October 7th of this year. His 92nd birthday. Stoker’s wife Robin told The Hollywood Reporter that he died of renal failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She said, “His transition was beautiful.”
Born Alphonso Marshall, Stoker was in a dance troupe with fellow Trinidadian actor Geoffrey Holder (you may remember him as Baron Samedi in the James Bond movie Live and Let Die), and the pair moved to New York together to pursue careers in the entertainment industry. The Hollywood Reporter says, “In 1954, he played the steel drums on Broadway in Truman Capote and Harold Arlen’s House of Flowers, starring Pearl Bailey, Alvin Ailey and Diahann Carroll, then toured in...

This article contains Star Trek: Lower Decks spoilers.
Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 3 Episode 6
Star Trek: Lower Decks episode 6 is an unabashed love letter to another classic Trek series. In fact, every call back moment in this episode is designed to fill the audience with an overwhelming wave of nostalgia for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The reasons? Characters, cultures, religions – Deep Space Nine is the Trek series that arguably has the richest, most recognizable lore in the franchise. That certainly comes out in this week’s episode as we delve into why it seems more like a DS9 episode rather than a Lower Decks one.
Rules Of Acquisition
Even the title of the episode, “Hear All, Trust Nothing” is a callback to some of the lore that made DS9 a standout in Trek history.
