Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which features 8 matches on the card this week (thankfully; I do love a shorter show)… On with the review!
Match #1: Lee Johnson, Qt Marshall and Cole Karter def. Justin Corino, Ryan Mooney and Steven Josifi
My Thoughts: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the new additions to The Factory faction have given the group a huge boost. Case in point, this match. Johnson and Karter work well as a duo and even made Qt Marshall a new edge!
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Zack Clayton def. Chris Wylde
My Thoughts: Clayton is seemingly being booked like a lot of the lower-tier Aew talent, he loses to any “big name” talent but then wins against outside enhancement talent. Which is, honestly, kind of boring. Even more so when it’s someone like Clayton, who needs an extra...

"I watched you all die!" Netflix has unveiled an official trailer for the film The Babysitter: Killer Queen, a sequel to McG's horror comedy film The Babysitter in 2017 (also on Netflix). Two years after defeating a satanic cult led by his babysitter Bee, Cole's trying to forget his past and focus on surviving high school. Dumped to VOD with little to no fanfare by its distributors, Eagle and the Albatross is one of those direct to market films I would unreservedly call a hidden gem. One whose trailer, thankfully (given thats the Only marketing I’ve seen for the film) had me sold straight away!
The film debut of K-pop star Amber Liu, Eagle and the Albatross tells the story of orphaned halfKorean girl, Ji-min, who finds herself in small town America with her only living relative. A fish out of water, Ji-min seeks out a mentor to help with the only thing she loves – golf. The best player in town, the widowed optometrist, takes her under his wing,...
