Vince Vaughn enjoyed a rare family outing in Los Angeles on Jan. 16. The actor attended the Lakers vs. Rockets NBA game with his wife, Kyla Weber, and their two kids, Lochlyn and Vernon, sitting near the court to watch the Lakers come out on top. Vaughn and Weber kept things low-key in black jackets, while 12-year-old Lochlyn wore a gray sweater and 9-year-old Vernon repped the home team in a yellow Lakers hoodie. Lochlyn cozied up on her dad's lap at one point, and Vernon joined Vaughn for a chat with NBA analyst Dave Miller.
Public appearances are few and far between for Vaughn's children, who most notably stepped out for their dad's hand and footprint ceremony at the Tcl Chinese Theatre back in 2015. They haven't returned to the red carpet since then, but they've made a few appearances at Disneyland through the years. Vaughn often references his kids during interviews,...

It's easy to pick on romantic comedies. They usually follow a fairly easy paint-by-numbers principle that involves personal worlds falling apart before they can be put back together again with pixie dust and a kiss. Usually everyone goes home happy and the story is wrapped up in a pretty bow. That's what audiences will also find in the Peter Billingsley directed, Vince Vaughn co-written, comedy Couples Retreat, to which I say, "So what?"
Where is it written that in order for a rom-com to be a decent flick, it has to shatter the genre's pretenses and mold the story into a believable (i.e. it has to have the possibility that it could happen in "real life," whatever that is) and soulfully-enriching experience that is guaranteed to solve whatever problem you and your significant other may be going through? The job of a dutiful rom-com is to provide audiences laughs...

Four days before the romantic comedy opens wide in theaters, Universal Pictures has presented the U.S. premiere of "Couples Retreat". On Monday, October 5, the studio rolled down red carpet in front of Mann's Village Theatre in Westwood, Los Angeles to welcome celebrities arriving for the special screening event.
Most of the major cast members, Vince Vaughn, Malin Akerman, Jon Favreau, Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell, Faizon Love and Kali Hawk, made time to attend the premiere. Bateman was accompanied by his wife Amanda Anka, while Vaughn came with his father Vernon Vaughn, who also played a part in the movie.
Although Kristin Davis, who portrays Favreau's on-screen spouse, was not spotted joining the festivity, other cast members including Jean Reno, Carlos Ponce and Ken Jeong were present. Director Peter Billingsley, writer/associate producer Dana Fox, producer Scott Stuber, and Universal's toppers Adam Fogelson, Donna Langley and Ron Meyer also came.
