I love a good (or so bad its good) monster movie – as you can probably tell by the number of them I’ve reviewed here at Nerdly. So when a new one comes along I’m always excited to see what “delights” they will bring. Will they do something original? Or be completely off the wall? But sharks are not only mans greatest enemy, well not if low-budget horror and sci-fi are to be believed, we also have to fear spiders… Giant spiders!
From the black and white terror of Tarantula in the Fifties to the hilarious comedy horror of Eight Legged Freaks, giant spiders (and spiders...

Conan shows off his advanced swordplay abilities, the blood flows, and heads drop to the ground. I love the way he twirls his blade around his victims before he kills them.

Not bad. The look of the film is certainly good. If I am not mistaken, I saw homage to Conan the Barbarian (1982) during a few of the snow battle clips. The battles look good, great cinematography, but can the intensity of the Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s 1982 film really be recreated?...

Big ruddy spiders isn't exactly the most original horror concept, however, one thing that'll make Tibor Takacs' ('Ice Spiders') new giant arachnid flick 'Spiders 3D' worth watching (aside from the hairy legged 3D effects) will be the appearance of ex-Playboy model Christa Campbell ('Drive Angry 3D'). The damn fine hottie stars alongside Patrick Muldoon ('Starship Troopers'), William Hope, Johnny Yong Bosch, Shelly Varod, Sydney Sweeney, Christian Contreras and Atanas Srebrev in the eight legged 3D-fest that has just wrapped in Bulgaria. If you can't wait to see what Crista gets up too then head down to your local theatre and check out the totally nude honey fighting and frolicking with Amber Heard in 'Drive Angry 3D'....
