There seems to be no end to Lego films featuring pop culture’s greatest heroes and villains. Out now from Warner Home Entertainment is Lego Batman: Family Matters, featuring the Caped Crusader (Troy Baker), Robin (Scott Menville), Nightwing (Will Friedle), Batgirl (Alyson Stoner), and Batwoman (Tara Strong) facing off against the Red Hood (Jason Spisak), Scarecrow (Steve Blum), Wizard ((Ralph Garman), Penguin (Tom Kenny), Killer Croc (Nolan North), Riddler (André Sogliuzzo), Solomon Grundy (Fred Tatasclore) and Two-Face (Christian Lanz). What more could a kid want?
The movie is released in numerous packages but the target viewer will want the Blu-ray, DVD, Digital HD combo pack with the bonus Mini Ultimate Batmobiel (84 pieces).
Writer Jeremy Adams takes Under the Red Hood and modifies it for the younger audience. Given the title, you know there will be a lot of focus on the Batman Family, and these are the best moments in the 79-minute production.

Here's why you might want to put Netflix's Brazilian dystopian sci-fi drama 3% on your to-watch list...
The first Netflix original production from Brazil, and only its second produced in Latin America, 3% is a dystopian sci-fi show that should be on everyone’s must-watch list. Based on a rejected TV pilot from 2011, it was created by Pedro Aguilera, who returns, along with one of two original writers, Ivan Nakamura, and a whole new team.

Comic Book Reviews: DC Comics Round Up Week 08-24-2016
Recently I put up an article here on Lrm about getting into Batman for new or casual readers (and to an extent, some of the more regular comic book readers out there). I broke it down to three good jumping on points, of which Tom King’s "Batman: Rebirth #1" was used. Now with some of the "Rebirth" books getting near issue six, I can say almost (Almost, not All!) all of the official "Rebirth" books have been an excellent introduction to the series for new readers. On that front, DC has been hugely successful (and the sales numbers are showing it). While continuity is still a bit funky, and events within titles don’t really seem to match up in a macro sense, each individual series has been a blast to read. While I am still reading Marvel books,...

Over and over again we have talked about how these DC Rebirth titles are a great jumping on point for new or returning readers. This is also the case for Hellblazer and for once this is my first Hellblazer book I have ever picked up. My only exposure to John Constantine is through some of his appearances in Justice League Dark and the television show. In this issue John goes back home to London to Literally face his demon. What makes John so interesting is his unorthodox approach to defeating his foe. It seems like he would be just as content if he beats the demon or not. There is not much else to this issue other than a brief appearance by Wonder Woman, Shazam and Swamp Thing. I am very curious to see John’s attitude in the upcoming issues as threats get tougher and more complicated. I was...

Press Release: Fox has set the fall premiere dates for its new and returning series.
All-new episodes of Gotham and Lucifer return Monday, Sept. 19. On Season Three of Gotham (8:00-9:00 Pm Et/Pt), the origin story continues and the stakes are higher than ever, as Super-Villains more ambitious and depraved are introduced, and a realignment of alliances shakes up the fight for power in Gotham City. Season Two of Lucifer (9:00-10:00 Pm Et/Pt) promises to be a mother of a season, as Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) is tasked with finding his family’s matriarch, while continuing to take down criminals alongside Lapd Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German).
Tuesday nights of comedy begin Tuesday, Sept. 20 with the return of Brooklyn Nine-nine, New Girl and Scream Queens. Entering its fourth season, Brooklyn Nine-nine (8:00-8:30 Pm Et/Pt) returns after a season finale cliffhanger in which Detective Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his by-the-book boss, Captain Holt (Andre Braugher), were forced to enter the federal witness protection program. Then, the sixth season of ensemble comedy New Girl (8:30-9:00 Pm Et/Pt) continues to follow Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and the gang as they attempt to find their respective places in the world, while begrudgingly accepting the responsibilities of adulthood – from marriage to career advancement – with often hilarious results.
From award-winning executive producers Ryan Murphy (“The People V. Oj Simpson: American Crime Story,” “American Horror Story,” “Nip/Tuck”), Brad Falchuk (“American Horror Story,” “Glee,” “Nip/Tuck”) and Ian Brennan (“Glee”), Season Two of Scream Queens (9:00-10:00 Pm Et/Pt) graduates from the college campus and into a hospital with a haunted past, as a new and terrifyingly funny mystery begins. Returning for Season Two are cast members Emma Roberts as Chanel Oberlin, 2016 Golden Globe Award nominee Jamie Lee Curtis as Cathy Munsch, Lea Michele as Hester Ulrich, Abigail Breslin as Chanel #5, Keke Palmer as Zayday Williams, Billie Lourd as Chanel #3, Glen Powell as Chad Radwell and Niecy Nash as Denise Hemphill. Additional cast members to be announced.

Empire (9:00-10:00 Pm Et/Pt), broadcast television’s biggest hit, is a powerful drama about a family at the center of a music dynasty. This season, Empire Entertainment founder Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) sets his sights on a new streaming service; as his ex-wife, Cookie Lyon (Golden Globe Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson) pursues a new romantic interest; and his sons, Jamal (Jussie Smollett), Hakeem (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) and Andre (Trai Byers), struggle with fame and ambition.
All-new episodes of Rosewood return, followed by the series premiere of Pitch, beginning Thursday, Sept. 22. Set against the vibrant backdrop of one of the world’s hottest cities – Miami – medical procedural Rosewood (8:00-9:00 Pm Et/Pt) enters its second season as top private pathologist Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr. (Morris Chestnut) and tough-as-nails Detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz) solve the Miami Pd’s most challenging cases. Pitch (9:00-10:00 Pm Et/Pt) is the dramatic and emotional story of Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury, “Under The Dome”), who becomes the first woman to play Major League Baseball – under the glare of a white-hot media spotlight. From executive producer Dan Fogelman (“Crazy, Stupid, Love.”), the inspiring series also stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar (“Franklin & Bash,” “NYPD Blue”), Ali Larter (“Legends,” “Heroes”), Mark Consuelos (“Kingdom,” “All My Children”) and Dan Lauria (“The Wonder Years”).

Then, The Exorcist (9:00-10:00 Pm Et/Pt) returns as a contemporary psychological TV thriller following two very different priests tackling one family’s case of terrifying demonic possession. Directed by Rupert Wyatt (“Rise of the Planet of the Apes”), the series stars Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Geena Davis (“Commander in Chief,” “Thelma & Louise”), Alfonso Herrera (“Sense8,” “The Chosen”) and Ben Daniels (“Flesh and Bone,” “House of Cards”).
