- Denis Simpson was born on November 4, 1950 in Jamaica. He was an actor, known for The Vindicator (1986), Teenage Dream (1986) and Final Days of Planet Earth (2006). He died on October 22, 2010 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Denis Simpson was the original bass vocalist for The Nylons 1978-1979. Simpson left the Nylons before they became internationally popular as an a cappella act as he got a part in the Broadway musical Indigo.
- Currently resides in Vancouver British Columbia.
- Brother of actress Gloria Reuben.
- Simpson has composed for many television programs. Most notably he wrote the theme song for the children's program, 'Tell A Tale Town'.
