Angelina Jolie movies list is so loaded it’s hard to pick which is her very best and which are not so cool. My foolproof technique for doing this for any actor is to check what critics and audiences are saying across multiple channels. That’s exactly how I arrived at ranking Angelina Jolie’s movies from best to worst. In the end, you can hardly go wrong with the multiple award winning actress. Even the worst movies on the list feel somewhat watchable because of her graceful and charming personality. There are scarcely a handful of actors that come close to Jolie’s reputation.
This article highlights some of the best and worst movies on the Angelina Jolie movies list.

How does cinema tackle mental health? Chloe explores a line in Girl, Interrupted that means the world to her.
Girl, Interrupted saw Angelina Jolie scoop her very first Oscar (for Best Supporting Actress) back in 2000 thanks to her seductive portrayal of charismatic yet heartless sociopath Lisa Rowe. Directed by James Mangold (Walk The Line, Logan), this searing psychological drama is an engaging yet loose adaptation of Susanna Kaysen’s best-selling 1993 memoir, which documents her intimate struggles as a troubled teenager confined to the volatile hierarchy of psychiatric care during in the 1960s after a botched suicide attempt. The film stars Winona Ryder as promiscuous 'rebel' Kaysen (who also served as executive producer) alongside a host of A-listers including Whoopi Goldberg, Brittany Murphy and Jared Leto.
And it's a film that means an awful lot to me. Its language hit home at a very difficult point in my life.

Tomb Raider - Matt Hill (Deputy Editor)
With Hackers already spoken for, and Morgan Freeman's ridiculous 'loom of fate' ruining the otherwise rather decent Wanted, Jolie's turn as gaming icon Lara Croft looms largest over her career for me – largest in that it's still somehow seen as a rather huge mistake that she inexplicably recovered from. That reputation is one really worth reassessing, though. Sure, Jolie only narrowly missed out...

Angelina Jolie celebrates her 39th birthday today! Parker Posey has revealed that she passed on playing Angelina Jolie's now-famous role in Girl, Interrupted. Posey revealed to CNN that she simply had no interest in playing sociopathic Lisa Rowe, the role which earned Jolie a 'Best Supporting Actress' Oscar. "I did pass on... Girl, Interrupted. The Angelina Jolie role. And she won the Academy Award! Isn't that funny?" the actress joked. She went on to explain: "I just didn't care enough about it. I don't know. There was something about it. "American Horror Story" has started fleshing out its Season 2 characters and TV Line is reporting that a major nemesis for returning scene-stealer Jessica Lange is going to be patterned after Angelina Jolie's "Girl, Interrupted" character.
Lisa Rowe was Angelina's "Girl" character and her dangerous, brash nature got her in trouble in the mental institution where the movie took place. The casting notice for "Ahs" says that Gia is a fierce, ferocious, extremely sexual and dangerous wild-child sexpot who harbors a secret. The second season of "Ahs" is also going to take place in a "horror institution."
TV Line tosses out Adrianne Palicki as a castin gidea. We could also see the show bringing back Alexandra Breckenridge in the role. Or perhaps someone like "True Blood's" Evan Rachel Wood. Or maybe someone like Alexis Bledel, in a complete departure from how we're used to seeing her.
Who do you think would be good?...

The highly anticipated thriller, "The Tourist," opens Friday, Dec. 10 and will showcase two of Hollywood's A-list together on screen for the first time. Not only have Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie never before starred alongside each other, they had never even met prior to filming their latest flick.
This comes as a bit of a surprise to us at Zap2it, as there are quite a few parallels between the entertainers. We've questioned their sanity at various points throughout their careers, they've both won numerous awards, have a fondness for the country of France and are both "living in sin" with their long term partner and children. But of course, you already knew all of that.
We did a little digging and found quite a few surprising similarities (and connections) between the stars. Here are our Top 5.

Winona Ryder is disappointed she didn't become friends with Angelina Jolie. The 39-year-old star insisted on casting the then-unknown actress as sociopath Lisa Rowe in 1999 movie "Girl, Interrupted", in which Winona starred in and also served as the executive producer on, and thought they would get along well.
However, Angelina, who won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for her performance in the movie, insisted on maintaining a distance from her. Winona said, "I remember thinking, 'Oh we're going to turn out to be great friends.' "
"But I think she needed to be able to look at me just as the character Susanna, not as Winona, so in a very respectful way she just kind of kept her distance. I saw her at one of the awards shows but I haven't really seen her since."
Despite not becoming friends with Angelina, who raises six children with partner Brad Pitt,...

News sources and fans are abuzz with word that Winona Ryder will be joining Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis for Darren Aronofsky’s supernatural thriller, Black Swan. According to Filmofilia, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee star is slated to play Beth, “a dancer who is coming to the end of her career.”
All the dancers, presumably including Nina (Portman) and Lily (Kunis), are vying for her role of Odette, the Swan Queen in Swan Lake. I didn’t think it was possible, but I believe the cast of Black Swan got even hotter.
And, as you probably know, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis are set to participate in some really, hot, angry sex, which Portman recently described as “not raunchy" but "extreme.”
Let’s just think of the possibilities: Perhaps Ryder has some sort of say in who replaces her, so both Portman and Kunis try to bribe her with aforementioned hot,...
