- (August 15 to 20, 1950) Lillian Hellman and his play, "Monserrat" was performed in the Sixteenth Midsummer Festival (Plays by Modern Playwrights) production at the Pasadena Playhouse in Pasadena, California. Gilmor Brown was artistic director and also director.
