After leaving Hollywood, after leaving Hollywood she appeared on Broadway in Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's hit play "Once in a Lifetime" which ran for 406 performances (from September 1930). She eventually joined the New York glamour set and became the toast of leading gossip columnists, including Walter Winchell.
