- Christopher Neil is known for Priest (2011), Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005) and The Virgin Suicides (1999).
- Francis Ford Coppola suggested him as dialogue coach to George Lucas. Lucas said that given the emotional intensity of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005), and the fact that he rarely has time to converse with the actors, it would be ideal for someone else to be there to get the strongest performances possible.
- His father, Bill Neil, is Eleanor Coppola's brother, Francis Ford Coppola's brother-in-law, and was an employee at ILM during the production of Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983).
