Netflix has announced that Heartstopper Season 3 will be available on October 3, 2024. A short clip from the new season has also been released.
The Heartstopper Season 3 clip is accompanied by an exclusive snippet of the track “Birds of a Feather” from the upcoming album Hit Me Hard and Soft by Billie Eilish.
In the new season, Charlie would like to tell Nick that he loves him. Nick also has something important to say to Charlie. As the summer holiday ends and the months race on, the friends begin to realize that the school year will come with both its joys and its challenges.
As they learn more about each other and their relationships, plan social events and parties, and start thinking about university choices, everyone must learn to lean on those they love when life doesn’t go as planned.
From creator and writer Alice Oseman, the eight new episodes are directed by Andy Newbery.

The BAFTA TV Craft Awards took place on Sunday, April 28, with British TV host and documentarian Stacey Dooley hosting the event at East London’s The Brewery. The ceremony was the first half of the two BAFTA nights honoring the year’s best TV, with the Craft Awards dedicated to below-the-line categories just like the Creative Arts Emmys.

“The great thing about ‘Heartstopper’ is that, in season two, Euros asked that I make the music feel new, feel like it’s developing as we are with the characters. So, a lot of...

At one point in the new season of Netflix’s Heartstopper, a pair of adult chaperones on a school field trip observe the various romantic entanglements of their students. One is touched and a bit amused by it all, while the other feels wistful about it. “When you don’t figure out you’re gay until your late 20s,” he explains, “you tend to miss out on those beautiful gay teenage experiences.”

The official trailer for “Heartstopper” Season 2 is out, and we’re already getting butterflies.
The second season of the YA romance series, which launches its eight-episode season Aug. 3 on Netflix, picks up as the whirlwind romance between Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke) continues to blossom. They don’t have it all figured out yet, though, and Nick struggles with figuring out when he wants to come out.
“I want to tell people,” Nick tells Charlie in the trailer. “It’s hard to find the right time.”
“I want you to come out when and how you want to,” Charlie assures him.
And it’s not just Nick and Charlie falling for each other. Love is in the air through the whole “Heartstopper” world, with Tao (William Gao) realizing his romantic feelings for Elle (Yasmin Finney) — who secretly reciprocates them (though she hasn’t told him that yet). Tara...

Netflix unveiled its first look at the highly anticipated second season of “Heartstopper,” the swoon-worthy high school coming-of-age romance that tracks the budding relationship between Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) and Nick Nelson (Kit Connor).
During the streamer’s Tudum fan event on June 17, “Heartstopper” co-stars Corinna Brown and Kizzy Edgell — who play the couple Tara and Darcy on the series — introduced the first scene of Season 2, which picks up the morning after the Season 1 finale. Olivia Colman has nothing but praise for her “Heartstopper” co-star Kit Connor.
At the end of October, Connor, 18, claimed he was forced to come out as bisexual, writing on Twitter: “Back for a minute. I’m bi. Congrats for forcing an 18 year old to out himself. I think some of you missed the point of the show. Bye.”
The actor, who plays Nick Nelson in “Heartstopper” alongside Joe Locke’s Charlie Spring, has since deleted his account.
Speaking at Thursday’s “Empire of Light” premiere, Colman, who plays Connor’s on-screen mother in the hit Netflix show, told Variety of him coming out: “I am so proud of him, but I am not proud of how people bullied him.
“I think people should be allowed to have their own journey. But I’m incredibly proud of him as a young man to deal with all of that and be in the spotlight.

Based on a novel by Matt Haig (pick up a copy Here), The Radleys has the following synopsis:
The Radleys are an ordinary family, or at least that’s what the neighbours think, no one would suspect that behind all of this, the Radleys hold a dark secret…they are vampires. Only parents Helen and Peter (Lewis) know about the family’s true nature. They are ‘abstainers’, vampires who choose not to drink blood despite their natural cravings. Their teenagers, vegan Clara and lovesick Rowan, have no idea, until one evening Clara is attacked by a boy in her class and her bloodthirsty instincts take over, forcing her parents to finally reveal the truth.

They are, in fact, vampires and only parents Helen and Peter (Lewis) know about the family’s true nature. They are ‘abstainers’, vampires who chose not to drink blood despite their natural cravings. Their teenagers, vegan Clara and lovesick Rowan, have no idea until one evening Clara is attacked by a boy in her class and her bloodthirsty instincts take over, forcing her parents to finally reveal the truth.

Netflix’s Heartstopper is a faithful adaptation of Alice Oseman’s web comics, doubtless thanks to the fact that Oseman herself adapted the series for screen. Fans of the comics – about a burgeoning gay romance between two British secondary school boys – needn’t worry about their favourite moments having been missed on TV. The important scenes from the first two volumes, from the ink explosion to Charlie and Nick’s day in the snow, Harry’s party, the birthday bowling, the disastrous cinema outing, the school concert and more, are up there on screen alongside new moments showcasing popular supporting characters Elle, Tao, Tara and Darcy.
Writer Oseman, director Euros Lyn and the production team have created such a loyal version of the source material that if viewers just watch the Netflix show, they’re not missing out on any vast backstory or details. If however, some viewers are inspired...

Coming-of-age shows are in again, with TV projects ranging from Baby-Sitters’ Club to Sex Education becoming very popular shows on streaming services. Netflix has seemingly noticed the pattern, which is why they’re set to drop a British coming-of-age romance TV series this month, titled Heartstopper. The show is based on the popular webcomic by Alice Oseman of the same name. Oseman also developed the series for Netflix, which is mighty impressive considering the cartoonist is only in her 20s. The series will be directed by Euros Lyn, who previously worked on shows like Doctor Who, Sherlock, Black Mirror, and Daredevil. Heartstopper will be executive-produced by

Twenty years ago, one woman convinced her neighbours to buy, rear and train a thoroughbred racehorse, Dream Alliance. Now their unlikely story is relived in a feelgood film
Ever felt stirred by a warm sense of connection to the world around you? Well, the Welsh have a word for that precious sensation: “hwyl”, sounding a little like “hoyle” to an English ear. And, as cinema projectors whirr into action again, there is one film above all others that aims to bring you this very emotion.
Out on 4 June, Dream Horse is the true story of the extraordinary racehorse that brought a group of impoverished Welsh owners together and offered them fresh hope against all imaginable odds. And the concept of hwyl, a kind of mystic combination of those two more famous buzz words, the Irish “craic” and the Danish “hygge”, is right at the film’s core, according to director Euros Lyn.

Photo: 'Dream Horse'/Bleecker Street The Story of Dream Alliance? I’ve always been a sucker for feel-good animal films. From ‘Seabiscuit’ and ‘Secretariat’ to just about any tear-jerking movie about dogs, I am almost always bound to be a fan of a film where an animal is the main attraction. This is partially why I was so excited to hit the theaters and watch one of this weekend's new releases ’Dream Horse’ directed by Euros Lyn starring Emmy Award-Winning and Oscar-nominated actress Toni Collette and Damian Lewis. This film tells the heartening true story of Dream Alliance, the unlikely racehorse who goes on to race and ultimately win the Welsh Grand National after a significant amount of trials and tribulations. Collette portrays Jan Vokes, a woman going through her monotonous everyday routine working at a grocery store during the day and bartending at night at the local pub.

Oscar nominee Toni Collette, Damian Lewis, and Owen Teale star in horse racing drama, Dream Horse, from Bleecker Street and Topic Studios.
Directed by Euros Lyn, the film tells the true story of Dream Alliance, an unlikely race horse bred by small town Welsh bartender, Jan Vokes (Collette). With very little money and no experience, Jan convinces her neighbors to chip in their meager earnings to help raise Dream in the hopes he can compete with the racing elites. The group’s investment pays off as Dream rises through the ranks with grit and determination and goes on to race in the Welsh Grand National showing the heart of a true champion.
Rounding out the cast are Joanna Page, Karl Johnson, Steffan Rhodri, Anthony O’Donnell, Nicholas Farrell and Sian Phillips

The 2015 Sundance-winning documentary “Dark Horse” was such an obvious candidate for an inspirational biopic that the question wasn’t whether it would be remade, but how well. Euros Lyn’s heartwarming “Dream Horse” doesn’t rewrite the genre, but it’s feel-good filmmaking of the sort many may be inclined to seek out at the moment. Although overly familiar and openly sentimental, it’s also an easy watch that’s gently appealing.
There were two breakout stars in Louise Osmond’s documentary: Jan Vokes and her racehorse, Dream Alliance. For the dramatization, Dream is played by seven horses while Jan is played by Toni Collette, so most of the movie’s focus stays on her. But that’s Ok, because Collette is charming as an initially-wan resident of Cefn Fforest, a former mining town in South Wales.

about a lovable group of working-class stiffs and red-faced retirees in a former South Wales mining village who find new reason to get out of bed in the morning when they pool their resources and invest in breeding a thoroughbred, Euros Lyn’s “Dream Horse” is more than a little hackneyed for something based on such an amazing true story. And yet, the Rocky-like theatrics that dominate the home stretch — already familiar to anyone who remembers Louise Osmond’s equally winsome 2015 documentary on the subject, “Dark Horse” — are perhaps the least compelling aspect of a light matinee that can fray around the edges as it strains to thread the needle between “The Full Monty” and “Seabiscuit.” On the contrary, “Dream Horse” hits its stride off the track, where the paint-by-numbers drama of winning and losing takes a backseat to a more nuanced tale about the need to get back in the race.

In the first trailer for “Dream Horse,” Toni Collette plays an ordinary Welsh woman with aspirations for something greater. So she gathers her community to contribute the money to buy a racing horse and watches her dreams become a reality.
Euros Lyn’s film is based on the true story of Jan Vokes, who successfully bred a champion race horse named Dream Alliance against all odds in coordination with the people in her small town. Toni Collette was so moved by the true story of her latest film, “Dream Horse,” that for quite some time, she couldn’t even manage to talk about the movie without crying over how inspiring and heartfelt it is.
“Dream Horse” is the story of a Welsh supermarket clerk named Jan Vokes who dreams of owning a racehorse and convinces the people of her town to chip in a small amount every week until they can finally afford to buy and train what would become a champion racer.
“I just fell in love with it. Until very recently, I couldn’t talk about it without crying because I found it so moving how this horse brought an entire community together,” Collette told TheWrap’s Beatrice Verhoeven at TheWrap’s studio in Sundance. “I’m a sucker for an underdog story and it’s so inspirational and so empowering to see this woman,...

Remember that Resident Evil Netflix series that was announced a year ago? After nothing in the way of updates, some details have finally emerged about what we can expect via a leaked pilot script written by Andrew Dabb, principally known for scripting several dozen episodes of Supernatural that widely vary in quality and include a number of the more comedic entries, and to be directed by Euros Lyn, helmer of a number of episodes of Doctor Who, the Torchwood miniseries “Children of Earth” and wonderfully creepy Welsh horror The Library Suicides.
The series is partially set in 2022 and follows half-sisters Jade and Billie Wesker, daughters of recurring villain Albert Wesker. In the best tradition of contrasting personalities of teenage siblings on ‘90s TV shows, Jade is charming, outgoing and friendly, while Billie is shy, withdrawn and antisocial, and also suffers from anger management issues. The family relocate to an apparently...

Louise Osmond’s 2015 Sundance audience winner “Dark Horse” was one of those documentaries that played like a crowdpleasing fiction, its real-life tale of underdog triumph had such a conventionally satisfying narrative arc. And indeed, the new “Dream Horse” proves that same material is indeed ready-made for dramatization.
Euros Lyn’s feature springs few true surprises within its familiar genre, one that U.K. filmmakers have specialized in at least since “The Full Monty.” Still, this is a well-cast, artfully handled effort that exercises sufficient restraint to really earn its requisite laughter and tears.
Toni Collette is in fine form as Jan Vokes, a middle-aged South Wales native whose life in declining former mining town Cefn Fforest has hit a seemingly permanent slump. Her children have left the nest, arthritic husband Brian (Owen Teale) mostly just parks himself in front of the telly, and her two jobs (bartending at the local...
