- Miss Ross' sultry tones have been used in films to dub actresses whose voices are not as fitting for their roles, these include Britt Ekland in The Wicker Man (1973), Marlene Clark in The Beast Must Die (1974) and Sarah Douglas in Superman II (1980).

- In a 1993 New York Times interview, Annie Ross stated that she actually was Annabel Logan as a child actress. She pretended to be the daughter of Ella Logan who in fact was not her mother but her aunt.
