- Jay Laga'aia was born on September 10, 1963 in Auckland, New Zealand. He is an actor and writer, known for Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005), Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) and Daybreakers (2009). He has been married to Sandra Jane since August 16, 1990. They have eight children.

Afterwards they said a prayer in Westminster Abby and are still together living and working out of Sydney, Australia

- There is possibilities in everything. When you film in NZ sometimes the budget doesn't quite stretch as far as the script would need. That's when a we use a bit of kiwi ingenuity and lots of duct tape to get us through the scene.
