The Way Home Season 2 saved its biggest moments for last. The March 31 season finale of the Hallmark Channel drama featured some major moments for almost every character, including Kat, Thomas, Colton, and Jacob. Big revelations – and lingering questions – set the stage for season 3, which will air on Hallmark sometime in 2025.

The season finale picks up just after Kat realizes that Thomas Coyle (Kris Holden-Ried) was likely executed in 1814. She decides to travel back in time to say goodbye and perhaps prevent his death (even though she knows from experience that trying to change the past is futile).
Kat encounters Thomas on the beach. He tells her he’s sacrificed himself to save Jacob. He gives her some coins and then they share a passionate kiss that’s sure to satisfy Kat-Thomas shippers.

"It" is one of Stephen King's most beloved novels. The horror story has terrified readers since it debuted in 1986. "It" features some of the most disturbing moments that King has ever created, and that's no small statement. While the story itself is horrifying, "It" explores the lasting impact of childhood trauma. The coming-of-age elements make "It" one of King's most heartfelt stories. Children and adults can feel inspired by seeing the Losers' Club overcome their fears.
Given the book's popularity, a film adaptation was nearly guaranteed. "It" was first adapted as a two-part miniseries in 1990, starring Tim Curry as Pennywise the Clown. The first episode showed the youthful adventures of the Losers' Club, and the second episode flashed forward to their time as adults. While there is a lot of nostalgia for the 1990 "It," the miniseries doesn't quite capture all the nuances that made the novel so beloved.

From the 2010 edition of the Blacklist to Zac Efron’s schedule, Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari’s screenplay for Die in a Gunfight seemed to be getting the fast-track into theaters before seven years of development saw a revolving door of actors and directors changing. It would take almost a decade before cameras started rolling and the person sitting prettiest after the whole ordeal became Collin Schiffli. After two indie films written by frequent collaborator David Dastmalchian, he’s finally got his hands in the Hollywood pie with Lionsgate and a modestly star-studded cast of B-listers to help make his stylistic flourishes look good. And there are a lot of them. Whether or not they work to make this riff on “Romeo and Juliet” a success is beside the point.

Toofab is all about bedazzling the heck out of your electronics, but this is overkill. A “Luxury Specialist” has created a blinged out iPad 2, called “The iPad 2 Gold History Edition,” and wants to sell it for a cool $8 million dollars. Yes, you read that correctly. So what on earth makes this particular iPad worth so much money? Creator Stuart Hughes says it has a 24-carat gold backing, 65 flawless diamonds covering the signature apple and home button, and the screen frame is made out of ammonite, which is the oldest rock in the world. If that’s not enough -- an incredibly rare Tyrannosaurus Rex thigh bone is sprinkled into the ammonite rock, we can only imagine, for good measure. Apparently, this idea isn’t new. Hughes sold Two diamond-encrusted iPhone 4 covers in 2010 for $8 million each. Which means someone might actually buy this item, as well. In these times of belt-buckling and recessionista fashions,...

Yesterday, at a corporate gathering in New York City, Panasonic showed off their latest plasma 3-D television--the biggest in the world, weighing in at 1,500 pounds and measuring 152 inches, crushing the last record the company held of 103 inches. But why stop at that monstrous size?
According to Jim Noecker, head of Panasonic's business development for professional displays, it's because this was the largest size that wouldn't require multiple glass panels to cover the screen. And with its insane resolution of 4k by 2k, the TV is the equivalent of nine 50-inch displays, says Noecker.
"If you lay it on its back, you could probably see it from space," he joked.
Hopefully that's worth the half-a-million dollar price tag, as it also sets a record for being one of the most expensive televisions in the world, walloping the $140,000 Yalos diamond-encrusted 46" TV, but trailing the $2.26 million Stuart Hughes' PrestigeHD--which is coated in 28 kilograms of 18k rose gold,...

Chicago – The DVD Round-Up has traveled the globe this week to bring you a diverse slate of under-the-radar titles received in the HollywoodChicago.com offices this holiday season. With so many major releases this time of year, it’s hard to cover everything, but we wanted to make sure you knew these were out there in case you have a gift card burning a hole in your pocket.
One quick note: We don’t usually inject opinion into the DVD Round-Up. It’s a recurring column merely designed for informational purposes regarding some lower profile titles new on shelves. We’d like to make a rare exception for “Sita Sings the Blues,” a simply wonderful animated film that we only wish we had more time to spotlight but that we wanted to make sure you knew was available before the end of the year. Don’t just go rent it.

A Pulitzer Prize-winning BBC cameraman was killed and a BBC producer injured when they stepped on land mines while filming in Kurdish northern Iraq, the pubcaster said Thursday. BBC director of news Richard Sambrook told reporters that Iranian-born Kaveh Golestan, 52, was killed instantly Wednesday afternoon in the Kurdish town of Kifri after stepping out of his car and onto a mine. BBC producer Stuart Hughes was also caught in the blast and suffered a foot injury, while the BBC's Tehran correspondent, Jim Muir, and a local translator were unhurt save for cuts and bruises. Hughes has since been taken to an American military hospital in Sulaymaniya in northern Iraq for treatment. Golestan, who is survived by his wife and 19-year-old son, won a Pulitzer for his work during the Iranian revolution. He had worked as a BBC freelance cameraman since 2001. "Kaveh Golestan was an outstanding photojournalist who worked in support of freedom of expression in his native Iran and elsewhere and was well-known to many Western news organizations," Sambrook said. "Our deepest sympathy goes to his family and friends. This once again illustrates the dangers faced by news teams covering the war in Iraq." The news came as Stewart Purvis, chief executive of British commercial news provider ITN, accused U.S. and British military leaders of concealing the details surrounding the death of veteran ITN reporter Terry Lloyd two weeks ago in what ITN claims was a "friendly fire" incident. Lloyd's colleagues, cameraman Fred Nerac and Lebanese translator Hussein Osman, are still missing and feared dead.
