Wendy Grantham (also spelled Wendi) is an American actor, singer and writer. She's a graduate of Harvard University, and of The New Actors Workshop.
She started in theater, with a role as understudy for the part of "Evie"in writer Charles Gordone's 1993 touring, Broadway-bound revival of his 1970 Pulitzer Prize winning play, "No Place to Be Somebody". However, due to contractual disputes, the play never got to Broadway.
She had a small guest role on "Homicide: Life on The Street" before guest starring on "The Wire": mostly in the first season, with appearances in the second and fifth.
She started singing at age 30, almost by accident, and has been doing it ever since.
