When people remember "The Twilight Zone," they usually talk about the endings. Certainly, the show's endings are the greatest fodder for parodies — from "Treehouse of Horror" on "The Simpsons" to "The Scary Door," a show-within-a-show in "Futurama."
As an anthology series, each venture into the Twilight Zone stands on its own terms and ends conclusively; the only consistent face is series creator Rod Serling as the narrator. The whole point of the series is to put its characters in bewildering circumstances, so twist endings were a way to wring out one last bit of shock. That's not to say the endings were all about shock value; the best twist endings in "The Twilight Zone" reflect the episode's message or leave the viewer with a new perspective on what they just watched.
Happy endings aren't an impossibility in "The Twilight Zone," but they aren't the ones that people remember. Here are...

The creators behind Doctor Who Legacy have teased what content to expect alongside Peter Capaldi's debut series as The Doctor starting this weekend.
Tiny Rebel Games explained the game was always planned to be updated "on demand" as new show content airs, with the plan to release adversaries, companions and more from the eighth series every week.
While additions will be playable within hours of an episode airing each week, the first episode's content will arrive 24 hours after the UK air date (around 11am Pdt on Sunday, August 24) to be "extra cautious about spoilers".
"It'll have the enemy unit from the first episode, and while we haven't said that's dropping yet, it'll obviously be something from the new season," executive producer Susan Cummings teased to Digital Spy.
Creative director Lee Cummings added: "Then every week, a few hours after watching a new episode, you'll be able to jump on...

Dubbed version 20, it adds stages from episodes throughout Series 5, and new characters including the first Doctor (William Hartnell), second (Patrick Troughton), ninth (Christopher Eccleston), the War Doctor (John Hurt) and their allies.
Two new features have also been added. One is the Perk System, which rewards players when you match any colour in a shape of a cross, full horizontal line of a T-shape.
Also added is an Expert Mode, which features black and white versions of existing characters that have appeared through a rip in space and time to offer very challenging levels.
The update is said to go live by 4pm UK time.
"The thriving Doctor Who: Legacy fan community reenergises us daily with their enthusiasm, support, and creative ideas," said executive producer Susan Cummings.

Charlemagne is the latest twisted opus by reigning Portland, Or underground film champion Bob Moricz. The film is described simply as being about a horror host who “loses his shit,” which you can see him do multiple times in the above embedded trailer.
There also looks like a lot of other craziness going on, as one should expect from a Moricz film.
Charlemagne is directed, edited and shot by Moricz; and stars Jeremy Benjamin, Kim Bissett, Kelsey Rider, John Schreiner, Greg Hamilton, Ian Sundahl, Susan Cummings and Moricz himself.
