"Sometimes we find hope where we least expect it." MGM / UA has revealed the official trailer for A Good Person, a new film written and directed by actor-turned-filmmaker Zach Braff. It's set to open in theaters starting in March next year. The story follows a woman whose life falls apart following her involvement in a fatal accident. She ends up meeting the deceased's father, and befriending him despite the sadness of the situation. The film stars Florence Pugh, Morgan Freeman, and Molly Shannon, Celeste O'Connor, Chinaza Uche, Zoe Lister-Jones, & Nichelle Hines. The trailer features the songs "Stardust" by Cary Brothers, "Time" by Angelo De Augustine, "Wake Up With The Sun" by Odessa. Pugh looks like she's giving another top notch performance, though the comedy in this footage doesn't seem to work well. Take a look. ›››

The Vampire Diaries’ upcoming 100th episode centers on our favorite evil vixen in what could be her final moments. After Katherine Pierce had a heart attack and fell down the Salvatores’ stairs in the mid-season finale, we’re scared that it might finally be time to say goodbye to the woman who once loved both Salvatore brothers but never loved anyone more than herself. So to honor what could potentially be the most memorable death (or near-death) scene in season 5, we’re reliving similar moments from the past four seasons.
Now, in our final day, join me and my fellow...

For the second year in a row Paste has hit the road, traveling to Aloft Hotels in 20 different cities to collect one-of-a-kind live performance videos from some of our favorite artists. The ongoing series has featured acts like Futurebirds, Matrimony and Cary Brothers, and the latest in the video series comes from Cleveland band The Lighthouse and the Whaler. We’ve had the privilege of catching The Lighthouse and The Whaler’s live show a few times before, both at Cmj in New York and at the Paste offices in Decatur, Ga. But it was refreshing to be a part of...

For the second summer in a row, Paste has hit the road, traveling to Aloft Hotels in 20 different cities to collect one-of-a-kind live performance videos from some of our favorite artists. The ongoing series has featured acts like Futurebirds, Matrimony and Cary Brothers and continues into the fall with Hiss Golden Messenger and People Get Ready later this month. By far one of our rowdiest events was in Lexington, Mass. with Kingsley Flood, the Americana-infused rockers who spent the summer making a major splash at Newport Folk Festival and won us over time and time again with their high-energy...

Juliette celebrates ten geek TV moments in which music and story are inseperable, with help from Buffy, Quantum Leap, Star Trek & more...
There are great dialogue-free scenes (most of Buffy’s Hush for one) and there are great silent or music-free moments (the credit sequences in Game of Thrones’ The Rains of Castamere and The Walking Dead’s The Killer Inside, most of Buffy’s The Body). But here, we’re celebrating musical moments where the score or soundtrack comes to the fore. The scene may or may not include dialogue, the music may be part of the scene (the technical term for this is diegetic) or part of the score, that is, music that does not exist for the characters but enhances the experience for the viewer (non-diegetic or extra-diegetic). However it’s set up, however it’s used, there are moments where...

Playing diner owner Han Lee on the ribald 2 Broke Girls, Matthew Moy has one very memorable role on the CBS comedy. That’s mostly because the show’s creators have been criticized for making Han one big stereotype after another: The character speaks with a heavy accent, often doesn’t understand American slang and turns of phrases, and is regularly made fun of for his small stature and clueless nature.
Behind the silly role, however, is Matthew Moy, an actor who, truly, couldn’t be further from who he plays on TV. Moy is very clued into pop culture, which...

As Braff wrote in the video description:

When we have an episode of "The Vampire Diaries" that's particularly heavy on exposition, like last week's was, it's generally followed by a high-action, fast-paced episode, like this week's.
The trouble is, I'm tempted to say that "Homecoming" had too much action.
The rapid twists and turns coupled with nonlinear storytelling left us without much emotional resonance in scenes that should have been heartbreaking.
I'm going to warn you all ahead of time... I didn't like this episode. This recap is much more critical than fun, so if that's not your thing, feel free to click away! As usual, every single sentence in here is based on my own opinion and my own viewing experience. If your opinions differ, that's awesome, and I'd love to hear all about your thoughts in the comments section.
Last fall we saw "Masquerade," where our heroes worked together and came off looking like pros.

Hello SpoilerTV. I’ve just joined the site as a show expert for Grey’s Anatomy. I’m new to this blog but not new to the show. Love love love it. I’ve written stuff about Grey’s before on my own blog and now have the opportunity to spout my often strong, biased opinions here on whatever subject you want. I love a good debate so feel free to disagree.
If Twitterverse is to be believed Grey’s will start filming Season 8 on 15th July (so says JCap), bringing an end to actor vacations and revving up the promotional PR for us poor long hiatus suffering viewers. But before we speculate about what delights Shonda Rhimes will bring us in September let’s remind ourselves of what happened during Season 7.

Adam Rose/Fox Cat Deeley hosts “So You Think You Can Dance.”
Overall tonight, the judges talked a lot about Improvement. Probably because that was the rationale for keeping Ryan. They also talk a lot about the choreography. And emotional portrayal of character. Although the show is not supposed to be So We Think You Have Potential, or So You Think You Can Choreograph, or So You Think You Can Emote. There were four judges tonight instead of just three,...

HollywoodNews.com: Cary Brothers just released his sophomore album “Under Control” in April, and his single “Ghost Town” has been doing well ever since.
While he is currently on a co-headlining tour with Greg Laswell, he has taken some time to film a music video for the single and has finally released it. The black and white video features some nice animation and takes the viewer through a dark story that comes full circle. This is definitely a nice follow up to Brothers’ story filled video for “Ride.”

While there were the usual, snappy One Tree Hill quotes on this week's episode of The CW hit, the installment's music selection varied a bit.
That's what happens when you honor a director (John Hughes) whose best known for iconic 1980s movies.
Indeed, the songs heard on "Don't You Forget About Me" were mostly from two decades a go, a welcome change of pace from the network's typical pop fare.
Check each one out in our One Tree Hill music section and sample a few below:
Cary Brothers - "If You Were Here" Cheap Trick - "I Want You To Want Me" Cheap Trick - "Surrender"...
