- She was chosen to sing the roles of Violetta and Mimi in conductor Arturo Toscanini's radio broadcast performances of "La Traviata" and "La Boheme", respectively. Both were broadcast on NBC radio in 1946. They were eventually released on 45-RPM records and 33 1/3 RPM LPs, as well as on CD. The "Boheme" broadcast commmemorated the 50th anniversary of the opera's world premiere in Italy, a performance which Toscanini also conducted.

- (August 1, 1943) She played Micaela in Henri Meilhac, Ludovic Halevy, and Prosper Merime's opera, "Carmen," at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois with Bruna Castagna (Carmen); Kurt Baum (Don Jose); Alexander Sved (Escamillo); Michael Signorelli (Bermandado); Giuseppe Cavadore (Daneaire); Algerd Brazis (Morales); Reinhold Schmidt (Zuniga); Janet Fairbank (Frasquita); Herman Tappo (chorus) and Elizabeth Brown (Mercedes) in the cast. Ballet with Ruth Page and Walter Camryn. Paul Breisach was conductor. Louis Raybaut was stage director. Fortune Gallo and Henry Zelzer were producers.
