The Musical, Jagged Little Pill, Company, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, Chicago, Diana, Mean Girls, Girl from the North Country, Six, and Mrs. Doubtfire will take part in Sunday’s Broadway Does Mother’s Day, a digital variety benefitting Broadway Cares’ Covid-19 Emergency Assistance Fund.
The show is designed to replace some of the funds usually raised by Broadway’s annual Easter Bonnet Competition, an event that was canceled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The digital sketch show will include Broadway stars, their children and their mothers, with musical numbers, comedy and special guests planned. Still more of last fall’s pre-Broadway Beetlejuice cast will be making the move to Broadway when the new musical begins previews next month: Jill Abramovitz, Kelvin Moon Loh, Danny Rutigliano and Dana Steingold were confirmed in principal roles in a full-cast announcement today.

Beetlejuice will begin haunting Broadway in March 2019 at the Winter Garden Theatre, producers said today. The official opening will follow in April.
The premiere dates and venue were announced by Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures (Mark Kaufman) and Langley Park Productions (Kevin McCormick). Directed by Alex Timbers, with a score by Eddie Perfect, book by Scott Brown & Anthony King and choreography by Connor Gallagher, the pre-Broadway engagement stars Alex Brightman and Sophia Anne Caruso as the title character and Lydia, respectively. Recently, CBS released the new,official,synopsis/spoilers for their upcoming "The Good Wife" season finale episode 22 of season 5. The episode is entitled, "A Weird Year," and it sounds like things will get very interesting and dramatic as the law firms will be exposed to a big threat, and more! In the new, 22nd episode press release: The futures of Florrick/Agos and Lockhart/Gardner are going to be at stake. Press release number 2: An open feed from a camera mistakenly left on after a teleconferenced deposition between the lawyers of Florrick/Agos and Lockhart/Gardner, is going to reveal a threat to the firm that Alicia and Cary never saw coming. In the meantime, the fate of Lockhart/Gardner will hang in the balance as Louis Canning vies for a larger role. Also, Alicia is going to entrust Zach’s high school graduation party to Jackie and Veronica.
