His original surname was Hiersche - Landers comes from his
ex-wife.
He can speak five languages, including Russian, although he cannot read
or write it.
His original first name is now his middle name; Henry.
He lived in Moscow for a short time as a young child.
Has two children; One from his marriage to Nikki, a son named Emil aged
15, and a daughter (age and name unknown).
Used to be a gymnast until the age of 13.
Left home at 16 due to fights with his stepfather.
Took the name Paul in honour of his real father.
Moved to East Germany from his native Russia at some point when he was
younger.
Used to play in another band called Feeling B, with Flake Lorenz and
Christoph Schneider.
He can also play the piano and violin, he learned them as a child.
For the Live Aus Berlin performance, he kept a straight face and appeared to be the most composed member of the band because he was sick with the flu. He wanted to perform anyway.
In the video for the song entitled "Engel", Landers replaces Schneider on the drums.
