New concept art from James Gunn's highly-anticipated "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" has debuted today in the pages of EW as part of their Comic Con special.
Andy Park created the art which shows off a new look at the team. The art also includes a glimpse of Pom Klementieff as Mantis along with the return of Baby Groot. Talking about the later, executive producer Jonathan Schwartz says:
"He doesn't have the wisdom and experience of that Groot. He's a younger Groot and a more rambunctious Groot. The question is, is he the same Groot, just smaller? Or is he a different Groot that's sprung up from the seed of the first Groot?"
Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell join the returning cast members in the project which wrapped filming recently in Atlanta ahead of a May 5th 2017 debut.

Our first glimpse of Charlie Cox suited up in his red Daredevil costume drew a mixed response from fans, but after seeing him in action in the final episode of the brilliant Netflix series they seemed to warm to it for the most part. The Man Without Fear may well sport a different look again when he returns for his second season, but until then we have a look at some awesome concept art from Marvel's go-to poster/concept designer Ryan Meinerding, who worked with the likes of Rodney Fuentebella, Andy Park, Joe Quesada, Jackson Sze, Josh Nizzi, and Anthony Francisco to come up with outfit that suited the "grounded, street-level tone of the series." “The tone that was really communicated was the sense of realism that they were going for,” Meinerding relates to Marvel.com. “I think the way that [manifested itself in] the costume was through the armor and making it...

Night Of The Living Dead 3D: Re-animation
Stars: Andrew Divoff, Jeffrey Combs, Sarah Lieving, Robin Sydney, Adam Chambers, Melissa Jo Bailey | Written and Directed by Jeff Broadstreet
A prequel to director Jeff Broadstreet’s 2006 3D “remake” of Night of the Living Dead, Night of the Living Dead 3D: Re-Animation (that’s one hell of a long title) follows mortician Gerald Tovar, Jr. (Divoff) who inherits the family mortuary and exposes hundreds of uncremated bodies to toxic medical waste – at first accidentally and then later on purpose. As the corpses re-animate, Gerald’s inheritance-seeking younger brother, Harold (Jeffrey Combs), unexpectedly shows up and stumbles upon Gerald trying to keep the zombie outbreak under control. Sibling rivalry gives way to madness as Harold discovers Gerald’s dark secret – the freshly exhumed and zombified corpse of their father.

The Daily Mail wrote today that according to South Korean company Cj 4DPlex, seeing films in 3D is simply not good enough anymore and 4D is where it’s out now. By introducing further sensations such as smell and movement into the auditorium 4D films are getting audiences closer to the action than ever before “providing the most immersive movie-watching experience” according to Cj 4DPlex’s CEO Andy Park.
First introduced for specialist screenings of Avatar, audiences were treated to wind rushing through the theatre, flashing lights, water mists and the lingering smell of explosives. In the past few months more and more films have been getting the 4D treatment in South Korea.
Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides left cinemagoers feeling damp but also “smelling sweet like Johnny Depp”. For Kung Fu Panda 2 the seats were fitted with massage motors that could punch you, lightly, in the...

Speaking of nerd culture, Jeff Koenig and the crew at Omf Geek recently put the call out for contestants for their “upcoming reality game show” Geek Vs. Geek. The program poses the question, “Are you geek enough?” and then seeks out answers through a series of head to head competitions hosted by Anyone But Me’s Rachael Hip-Flores and shot by The Hayley Project’s Andy Park. Participants debate age-old topics like Han Solo or Indiana Jones, Metachlorine counts versus angels incarnate, and Frodo or Willow. Judging from the trailer, it looks a player vs. player version of Beat the Geeks for the online generation. Geek vs. Geek is slated to start shooting in November, but not before announcing its final eight contestants during New York Comic Con on October 16. If you think you’ve lived in your parent’s basement long enough, been ridiculed in school for a sufficient amount of time,...

''Raw Nerve'' is likely to register only a dull throb at the boxoffice, eking out a perfunctory run on the way to video. With a cast of Glenn Ford, Sandahl Bergman, Traci Lords and Jan-Michael Vincent, this terror of personality yarn might retrieve modest initial returns on the vid rental circuit, but its simplistic plotting and doltish dialogue will not appease viewers with any discriminatory nerve-endings.
In this brutal suspenser, Ted Prior stars as Jimmy, a handsome, repressed 36-year-old stock car driver who lives with his 18-year-old sister. Perhaps the only professonal race car driver in history who's not a skirt chaser, Jimmy definitely doesn't have all his pistons going. And he keeps getting headaches, which trigger momentary memory fragments -- grisly shotgun murders. But he's a

nice guy and thinks he should go to the police with his tale, an idea that does not sit well with his booze-hound buddy Blake (Randall ''Tex'' Cobb).
Amazingly, he goes anyway and pours out his heart, but the flat-footed homicide division (Glenn Ford, Jan-Michael Vincent) dismiss him as just another hysterical confessor. All, however, are not deadbeats on the investigative front: an aggressive female reporter (Sandahl Bergman) decides to get the story out of Jimmy; her m.o. is to bed him down. Such is the sophistication of this ''Nerve.''

Still, hats off to Cobb for a convincing characterization of a red-neck beer swiller and to Bergman for her appropriately tenacious portrayal of the investigative journalist. As the two doltish cops, Ford and Vincent, admittedly, don't have much to work with -- so sluggish are the roles.
Technical contributions are serviceable: in particular, Andrew Parke's dark and glossy cinematography adds a fittingly chilly hue to the rampagings, while editor Tony Malinowski smartly pinches this ''Nerve'' with some razor cuts.
