- Sofia has a clear goal: get in an university, find a job and leave home. When her school is occupied by her friends and classmates though, she sees herself in a dilemma between keeping on studying or sharing her knowledge in transforming the school.
- Berenice is a happy girl in perfect health condition with an astonishing beauty that matches her joy of living. She enjoys life playing in the fields, barefoot, were she runs and have fun with an open smile. Egeu instead never shows his teeth. Weak and depressed he spends his days at the old family house's office, which still reveals the memory off ancient wealthy days through many engravings and books, his only mean of communication with the world. From the encounter between these two characters a sick relationship grows, finally arriving in a tragic end for both.

- High Tension Line is about society and culture, about Brazilian identity and historical contradictions. We look at people's hair to approach these issues. What does the hair say about a person? A lot. With that in mind we've been to Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Salvador and Belém to hear women and men of all ages, representing Brazilian ethnic and social diversity, finding unexpected affinities and understanding both the individual and the group identity related to the hair. More than 40 characters to whom the hair is a fundamental trace of personality, helping them to send the world a message. In many cases the hair is a way to state an opinion: Black women and men in their fight against prejudice, teenagers gaining autonomy, white haired people, bald people, all of them adopting their hairstyle to face aesthetic dogmas established by mass media. The four cities, each one in a different part of the country, take us from the Amazon Forest to the seashore, from the poor outskirt's favelas to the busy financial center of the country, from the majority of black people in Salvador to the indigenous background of Belém and to the ethnic miscellaneous of Sao Paulo and Rio.

The story is told by the poets/citizens, showing the power of transformation brought by this independent event and giving us an idea of fresh air in cultural production.

Their stories are told out of chronological order, which means that we will get to know them as the film advances, gradually understanding not only their activities as well as their past, their motivations and their dreams. While we are approaching and getting to like these characters, we follow the construction of a slab, from the foundation until the coverage. This work is a powerful metaphorical element representing the moment of mass construction as well as the construction of the film itself.
