- Today on WHAT'S MY FRAME? I'm chatting with casting director and actor's advocate, Ramani Leah. Ramani has been in casting for over a decade. working with casting legends like April Webster, Francine Maisler, and Laray Mayfield; just to name a few. The majority of Ramani's career has been in television working on shows like House of Cards, Bates Motel, and Criminal Minds. She considers herself an "actor's advocate" and most recently started a new business alongside five other casting directors called "The Casting Director's Cut" which is an actor's reel editing company that allows you to consult with a casting director about your footage before it's edited. After watching reels day in and day out, Ramani realized there was a disconnect as to what casting professionals were looking for vs. what was being put out there. - Today on WHAT'S MY FRAME I'm chatting with casting associate and professor at UCLA's school of Theater, Film and Television Coco Kleppinger. Before starting her career in casting, Coco had a successful acting career, receiving her MFA from UCLA with a dual emphasis in acting and dialect/vocal production. In casting she has worked on IT and IT Chapter 2, The Disaster Artist, Shazam!, Annabelle Comes Home, TAG and one of my personal favorites GAME NIGHT. Besides working at one of the busiest offices in LA, Rich Delia Casting, Coco makes time for teaching at UCLA; with classes focusing on acting for the camera, auditioning technique, actor self care, voice and speech, vocal extremes and dialects.
- Today on WHAT'S MY FRAME? with chatting with television director, producer and editor Alec Smight; a New York native Alec started his career as an actor; before transitioning his career behind the camera; where he quickly became a successful film and TV editor working on MOONLIGHTING, LA LAW and CHICAGO HOPE for witch he received his first Emmy and A.C.E. nominations. After five years in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation editing room, Alec stepped into the role of director-producer on the series, seeing CSI through to the series completion in 2015. Alec continues his love of directing and editing most recently working on Criminal Minds, MacGyver, the new CBS series Tommy staring Edie Falco; as well as the GOSSIP GIRL reboot for HBOMax.

Geralyn has worked on projects for ALL the major networks ABC, NBC, CBS, The CW, The WB, Freeform, Disney, Nickelodeon, Snapchat - and the list just continues to grow. Geralyn's first casting job was working with Jeff Greenberg on FRASIER, yes that FRASIER. While at Jeff's office she also worked on ACCORDING TO JIM, and I'M WITH HER. She then spent four years at Zane/Pillsbury working on GOOD LUCK CHARLIE, WHITE COLLAR, and GARY UNMARRIED, and countless unseen pilots; as working actors I think we all can relate. In addition to her impressive TV credits, Geralyn has worked on indie and studio films including three Mark Waters features JUST LIKE HEAVEN, THE SPIDERWICK CHRONICLES, and GHOSTS OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST. Geralyn recently completed working with Marc Hirschfeld on all 4 seasons of CBS favorite, MAN WITH A PLAN starring Matt LeBlanc. In 2019 Geralyn reteamed with Norman Lear for his LIVE IN FRONT OF A STUDIO AUDIENCE: ALL IN THE FAMILY AND THE JEFFERSONS SPECIAL, for which she won her second Artios award for excellence in casting. Seth was first drawn to casting while still working as an actor; but once given the opportunity to work on the other side of the room, he was hooked. Seth has been working alongside Elizabeth since 2015 on projects like WHAT/IF on Netflix, SIREN and all three Seasons of the Emmy nominated hit GLOW for which he's received two Artois nominations. On the TV side of Amey's career she's cast the Netflix Original Series EVERYTHING SUCKS!, Season 2 of the Sundance Original Series THIS CLOSE along with a number of other projects. - Today on What's My Frame? I'm chatting with Director Norman Buckley. Norman's career includes Pretty Little Liars, Charmed, Quantico, Chuck, Gossip Girl, and The OC just to name a few. He is co-executive producer / producing directors on Netflix's series Sweet Magnolias. To date he has directed over 100 episodes of television. Norman's episode of The OC "The Metamorphosis" was chosen by Entertainment Weekly as one of the five best episodes of the series. His episode of Gossip Girl "The Handmaiden's Tale" was chosen by Newsweek as one of the top 10 episodes of 2007. Outside of his directing career Norman has taught at the UCLA film school; as well as establishing the The Davyd Whaley Foundation in honor of his late husband; the foundation supports LA area artists through annual grants. Norman is one of the kindest directors I've had the joy of working with; he is an exceptional wealth of knowledge and truly loves actors.
- Today on WHAT'S MY FRAME? I'm chatting with Lily Trotter, Manager of Casting for HBO Max, TNT, TBS and TruTV. Lily joined the HBOMax family this January after working at Linda Lowy casting for almost eight years. On today's episode Lily gives us a peek behind the scenes from her time at Linda's as well as sharing some exciting news on upcoming projects with HBOMAx; like Made For Love, 8 Bit Christmas, Aquaman, Jellystone, and Raised By Wolves. Lily is responsible for making sure the flow of all things casting goes proficiently at HBOMax; from working with development teams, to the hiring of Casting Directors and actors for each project. She oversees scripted, unscripted, animation and features. While working at Linda Lowy Casting, Lily was part of the tight knit casting team. Her first series she worked on as an Associate from pilot to the end of the series was How To Get Away With Murder. In addition to HTGAWM, Lily had the pleasure of working on multiple Shonda Rhimes shows including; Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, Station 19, For The People, and The Catch. Besides the many ShondaLand shows she helped bring to life, Lily also helped cast both seasons of Dirty John, Chance, and Preacher.

Danielle currently stars on the CBS hit YOUNG SHELDON, you might also know Danielle from GET SHORTY, THIS IS US or SCANDAL. In addition to her successful television career, Danielle is an accomplished stage actor. Her award winning one woman show BODY/COURAGE is a hilarious yet poignant exploration of body image, based on over 300 interviews conducted internationally by Danielle. LaNisa has starred on shows like THE GOLDBERGS, YOUNG SHELDON and BROOKLYN 99 opposite Andy Sandberg. LaNisa also got her start in theatre; honing her craft in Chicago and later England. She has graced the stages of Victory Gardens, Goodman Theatre, Steepenwolf along with countless others. She honed her comedic genius at Second City Chicago training under Sheldon Patinkin. LaNisa has also built a prolific voiceover career, voicing "Syd" the first black woman to be a major character in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Longtime friends LaNisa and Danielle started #HashtagBooked is an improvised sketch series exploring the joys and misfortunes of being an actor of color. Their hilariously relatable sketches have set the internet ablaze. To date #HashtagBooked content has reached over two million views and been featured in Forbes, Essence, and Shondaland. After building a successful career as a music director and conductor, Anthony transitioned his career to the representation world in '07. Anthony works with his tightly-woven team of theatrical agents in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles to create opportunities for their clients in television, film, and theatre. Among his clients are Tony Award winners and nominees, heads of large touring companies, series regulars, and high-profile film actors. Katie has provided commercial directors and advertising photographers with unique faces and talents of every color, shape and size. Katie truly believes there is a place for every face on screen. Following a career as a successful stunt women in film and TV, Katie switched gears and began working in street casting for some of LA's top commercial and film casting offices. Realizing this was her true calling, Katie founded Taylor Casting in 2000. - Hi everyone and thanks for joining us on What's My Frame? Today I'm chatting with actress and director AUTUMN REESER. Autumn saw her breakout role in 2005, as the quirky-cute and socially awkward Taylor Townsend on the final two seasons of The O.C. Autumn is also a Hallmark sweetheart starring in 10 romantic comedies for the network. You might also remember Autumn from her memorable performance as firecracker Lizzie Grant on HBO's Entourage and scientist Katie Andrew on ABC's No Ordinary Family. Raised in Southern California, Autumn fell in love with acting when she saw her first play at 6. She begged her parents to let her audition for a role in her local community theater, where she grew her talent and passion for acting over the next decade of her childhood. At 17, she was accepted to UCLA's prestigious musical theatre program, where she spent the next few years immersed in voice, dance and acting technique. After UCLA her career quickly progressed to numerous stage productions and guest-starring roles on Grounded for Life, Cold Case and CSI. In addition to her film and television career, Autumn staying true to her musical theatre roots has appeared in numerous cabarets and musicians over the years. - Today on What's My Frame. I'm chatting with Louisiana based Film, TV and Commercial Casting Director; Ryan Glorioso. With a career in entertainment spanning over 20 years, Ryan has a deep understanding of the industry from both behind and in front of the camera. After graduating from Louisiana's Northwestern State University with a BA in Theatre, Ryan spent 8 years in Los Angeles pounding the pavement as an actor. Upon returning to New Orleans in '04, he found himself in a film industry frenzy. Soon after his return to Louisiana, Ryan found his place in casting, his niche if you will in the industry. With over 90 film and TV credits to his name, Ryan is one of Louisiana's leading casting directors. He prides himself on supporting actors and helping showcase the spectacular Southeast talent pool.
- Today on What's My Frame? I'm chatting with casting director Katie Griffin. Katie brings over 20 years of experience to the table casting in television, film, commercials, print and music videos. Katie has Affectionately been described as a "unicorn finder" and if the glitter mane fits; I say wear it proudly. She opened Katie Griffin Casting in 2011 in New York; Katie has pioneered on-site digital casting a new found industry standard of 2020. Katie's experience, both as a performer and as a casting director, gives her a unique perspective on how to better serve the needs of the industry while saving valuable time and money for her clients. Katie cut her teeth casting studio feature films, national commercials, and popular television series on South Beach, but not before graduating cum laude from the University of Miami School of Music's rigorous Musical Theater Conservatory. After graduation she relocated to New York City, where she helped jump start an entire genre of television casting AMC's first reality series, Into Character, followed by Cash Cab, What Not to Wear, and Whose Wedding Is it Anyway? From an actors perspective I can speak first hand to what an advocate Katie is. She raises industry standards by demanding fair treatment and equal pay for talent - and the utmost in professionalism from everyone involved. A staunch believer that empowered women empower women, Katie mentors at-risk young women through the United Way's Girls Today, Leaders Tomorrow program and works closely with high school girls considering careers in the performing arts.
