- A historical fiction drama and thriller set in the turbulent period of the late 1920s in the Balkans as a place where high politics, local interests, capital and crime all merge together.

Jovan is the son of a local forester Tadija, who, in return, allows Strain poaching and illegal cutting of village wood. Although there is attraction between Srna and Jovan, they still don't want to be married by the wish of their fathers. Suddenly Petar, the ex-forester who was seven years in jail for killing Strain's older son, returns to the village. His return changes lives of all characters in this story indicating the uncertain end of it.

During his studies at the prestigious FAMU in Prague, together with Goran Markovic, Srdjan Karanovic, Lordan Zafranovic, Goran Paskaljevic and Rajko Grlic, who participate in this documentary TV series, the Prague Spring of 1968 took place, then the intervention of the USSR and the five countries of the Warsaw Pact and , as a paradigmatic ending, the self-immolation of Jan Palah in January 1969.
