Lolita overhears McGee and Smeed plot to capture Sonora and warns Álvarez. Sonora saves the lives of Alice and Extra when their buckboard crashes over a cliff, and they are ambushed by the bandits but rescued by the rurales.

The gambler dispatches his henchman, Nick Alby, to kidnap Marion, but Dave and Quantrell follow them to the White Owl. Dave defeats Mallory in a brutal fight, then rescues Marion from a fire.

Meanwhile, Gus has abducted Ruth. Bill leaps on White Duchess and rides to the rescue.
