At the beginning he is very firm and reluctant to give in, but when Anja, the girl he left, announces that she is pregnant with his baby, Struja suddenly realizes that there are bigger issues in life than playing at wedding.

- Ante and Dusko are two Dream Team players. Besides being a Croat and a Serb who fought on opposite sides in the war, both used to be volleyball players. Today, they live normal lives, one in a remote craggy region, the other in Banja Luka. There is little chance of them ever meeting again. The International War Crimes Tribunal in the Hague has indicted Colonel Skoko, a hero to some, a criminal to the others. The two main witnesses to his defense, Mato and Joso, have disappeared without a trace. Skoko's sponsor from the intelligence circles, Antisa, wants to find two men resembling Mato and Joso, to impersonate them before the Hague investigators, and hopefully bring down the indictments. Naturally, the two men he finds are none other than our heroes, Ante and Dusko
- Approximately a month before the death of the first Croatian president and in the wake of parliamentary elections in December 1999, a diplomat from the Croatian embassy in Paris is reported missing. He is a doctor of French literature who returned from Canada in 1991. Gawain Skok, who took part in the War for Independence and defended Vukovar, starts a search.
- A brother and sister, Miron and Melita, go to visit their friend Zoltan (Liptus) in Kopacevo for winter vacation. The local residents and hunting lodge members there are involved in a big campaign to help the wild animals from the reserve to survive the winter. The same night Miron and Melita arrive, a boy named Halasz is found half-frozen at the edge of the swamp where, he raves, that he was attacked by a white ghost on one of the islands of the swamp. From then on, he can no longer talk. The old woman Etelka reveals the secret that the ghost had been first seen long ago and that you cannot go to the island because the ghost wreaks vengeance on anyone stepping onto the island. Fear takes hold in the place. The hunters, with Vucevic, Kovacevic and Levay taking the lead, begin an investigation however neither they nor the doctors can help Halasz. Therefore Miron, Liptus and Melita decide to find the ghost and offer to carry it off the island to the shore in exchange making their friend well again. However, the ghost shoots and wounds the hunter Levay proving that the ghost is much more dangerous than was previously thought.
- The latest film from Metod Pevec explores the tensions between the old and new ways of doing things in independent, post-Communist Slovenia, centered on a family dispute over an inheritance. The free-spirited but emotionally troubled Frank (Janez Skof), still an idealist about now-discarded socialist ideology, returns home for the reading of his late father's will. His father was a leader in the country's transition to free market enterprise, but Frank suspects that the inheritance money may have been earned through illicit dealings. Frank's capitalist-minded brother Brane (Valter Dragan) believes he has full right to the inheritance and retains lawyers and some of his father's shadier cronies to ensure that he collects it. Meanwhile, the dormant love triangle among the two brothers and Brane's wife Ines (Katarina Cas) comes back to the fore.
