- Struggling through the pages of an inconclusive story, a writer decides to retake an old manuscript with his typewriter. Just when everything seems to be picking up, there's a knock on the door. The unexpected intruder enters the room, he seems to be injured and falls down to the floor. Attempting to call an ambulance, the writer dials the emergency number, but as he gives his back to the uninvited visitor, he takes a blunt hit to the head and passes out, unconscious. When the writer wakes up, he's inside what appears to be a somewhat forgotten library. Aside for books, there's only one table and two chairs. The writer is tied to his chair while the intruder seats at the other side, waiting for him to wake up. After an agitated argument, the intruder pulls out a weapon, and just when he's about to shoot the writer, we realize that everything's a creation of the writer's story, and he's the one who's in control of the situation. Suddenly, the writer is the one with the gun, while the intruder is tied to his chair, defenseless. Just when the writer seems to be on top of things, the intruder starts messing with his head, as his own character, by making him believe he (the writer) is useless without him (the intruder). The story ends up chasing after his own creator (the writer) as he struggles to escape, until he realizes he needs to give it an ending, so he shoots the intruder, killing him instantly, but also inevitably killing himself.
